Hotel du Vin Cannizaro House Wimbledon

Fabulous location great access, astounding building staff were absolutely amazing very well trained and incredibly personable. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable and I slept like I haven’t slept for a very long time. The bathroom was amazing and very well stocked and equipped

I had a big problem with the car park barrier not recognising my car. Wasn’t the end of the world, but if the barrier is supposed to be automated I shouldn’t have to keep pressing the buzzer and having to get out of my car to do so. I thought the carpet in the reception desperately needs to be replaced. It’s the first place where customers come in and it was notably worn and grubby. The room was fantastic a huge room but desperately too dark possibly because the boutique wallpaper which was in itself wonderful combined with the quite dark furniture requires either more bright lighting or a lighter room design. However, these are only minor suggestions from somebody who is a bit of a perfectionist I would not let any of this be a reason not to stay.

I liked the location , it was nice and quiet . The food in the restaurant was good.

I found the restaurant and bar area too cold and I didn’t like the background music playing quite loudly in the restaurant, it was not very relaxing.
