Avra Imperial Hotel

Started with a pleasant welcome at the lobby. The staff at reception were so nice esp to my 2 year old daughter. We also got upgraded to a suite with a private pool at no extra cost which was really nice. The trip was off to a great start. All the staff were kind, didn't have a single unpleasant interaction. The beach was beautiful. The kids entertainment was also really good, the staff there were really lovely to my daughter.

The food was good but not the best we've had. We'd give it an 8/10. Also the food could be hotter especially the soups. The cleanliness was also good but there were bits missed. I noticed the cleaner wasn't as thorough e.g. bits of ketchup missed on the table after ordering room service. The pool- while the set up was lovely especially the area with the bar/restaurant in the middle, it was way too cold. I noticed all the kids were shivering. The spa didn't have a pre-natal/pregnancy package, not a very big deal but would be really nice to have a package tailored to pregnant women.

Great selection of food for the entire family.

The hotel is big, busy and full of families with small children. We have three children of our own but it was a bit much for our liking. People pushing strollers/buggies around the breakfast buffet was annoying.

Beautiful location and facilities! The pool at the beach was so stunning & the beach bar & the spa. Breakfast was good!

I felt the food wasn’t great in the Italian restaurant as we had mould in our cheese which was served to us by our waiter within the first hour of us arriving at the hotel. We also had another incident with mould on the side of the glass at the buffet. For a 5 star hotel this definitely should not be happening! I found the food at the Italian and Asian wasn’t very good either. The actual hotel room its self was very basic and didn’t have much luxury about it for the price we paid.
