A estadia no The Elysium Taksim foi uma agradável surpresa, que começou no momento do check-in, onde me foi oferecido um upgrade do meu quarto para um duplex, com excelentes áreas e todas as comodidades de um hotel de 5 estrelas. O pequeno-almoço é variado, com excelentes produtos locais, muito variado, pecando apenas por alguma falta de variedade na fruta. O hotel tem um ginásio devidamente apetrechado e uma agradável piscina interior. A localização tem uma história curiosa: se você sair do hotel e virar à sua esquerda, entra no conjunto de pequenas ruas de Istambul, sem piada. Se virar à sua direita, tem a Praça Taksim apenas a 5 minutos e percebe apenas aí que está num local super central, perto de uma das principais e mais movimentadas ruas de Istambul (Istikal). A partir daí pode ir a pé para as principais atrações da cidade, se gostar de andar (Hagia Sophia ou Grand Baazar a 30 minutos a pé por exemplo). No entanto, se andar de taxi (através do aplicativo Uber) os preços de deslocação são muito razoáveis. Finalmente uma nota muito positiva para o staff do hotel, de várias nacionalidades, que têm em comum uma genuina simpatia, vontade de tornar a sua estadia agradável e uma preocupação com o seu bem estar.

Apenas dois pormenores: 1) a velocidade do wifi do hotel é do século passado, e para termos um acesso mais rápido temos que pagar um valor exorbitante; 2) cobrar um extra elevado por um café expresso ao pequeno almoço é desnecessário e deselegante.

I regret to say that my recent stay at the hotel was a very bad experience. We were a family of four and were booked for a family room and was said its one of the best rooms when we arrived, it was clear that this establishment was not up to standard. Firstly, there were no proper bath towels provided in the room, which was incredibly disappointing. Additionally, there were no face towels available either, which made basic hygiene challenging during my stay. The bathroom itself was in poor condition, with broken toilet fittings that made it difficult to use. Moreover, the air conditioning in the room was not working properly, leaving the atmosphere uncomfortable and stuffy. Despite reporting these issues immediately to the staff, it took several hours for them to even begin repairs. In the meantime, I was left sweltering in the room with no relief from the malfunctioning air conditioning. To add to the frustration, the room lock became blocked at one point, preventing us from entering our own room. Shockingly, there was no night manager on duty to address this issue promptly. The reception staff who were present showed no interest to the guests' needs. Overall, my experience at this hotel was nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

الشارع المؤدي الي تقسيم 300 متر لايوجد به كميرات مراقبه يجب اخذ الحذر فيه في الليل من النصابين و لا شيء يستحق القلق هذا مجرد تنويه

Das Hotel ist recht nobel und in einer guten Lage in Istanbul. Personal ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Außerdem ist das Frühstück sehr gut. Ilayda

Die Sauberkeit war nicht so optimal. Das Zimmer braucht eine Renovierung.
