The Hoste is a very comfortable and relaxed hotel in a central spot in Burnham Market. The staff were so friendly and helpful and it just makes a great base
Evening menu not that appealing

Surprisingly, despite being on the main street through the village it was fairly quiet, except for the wood pigeon who took it upon itself to provide our early morning wakeup call. The breakfast was wonderful, if diet-breaking, and we entertained our daughter and her partner to Sunday lunch which was excellent. I was also pleased that we managed to squeeze our little Golf into the car park around the back, among the Chelsea Tractors.
In the hottest summer for some years I was hoping for air conditioning in the room, but (perhaps because it was in the annex across the road) it didn't have that facility.

Excellent location, close to coastal towns & amenities.
Not able to park at anytime in hotel car park as all spaces taken. Had to carry our luggage both to & from hotel along main High Street to our vehicle.
