We stayed here for my father’s 80th and it was just perfect. The staff were amazing as was the breakfast, restaurant and rooms. My mother has asked if we could go back for her 80th!!

We were fully aware of the location, but need to consider taxi’s prices. There were 7 of us staying and a taxi to Verona was €80 one way and you need a taxi to the lake too which was about €25 - €35. The taxis were very reliable though! It’s just something to consider!

A beautiful setting with lovely rooms and excellent facilities. The grounds are peaceful and green — relaxation is guaranteed. The pool is lovely, and the pool bar in particular stood out, with a good choice of snacks and drinks.

A few things fell short always relative to the price. We asked for a second key card and were initially refused because they had reportedly run out — after I complained I was "lucky" because they found one! We had also requested rooms close together a long time before, but ended up at opposite edges of the resort, even though rooms of the same type were available nearer to each other, not a big one but still inconvenient. Breakfast was fairly basic unless you paid extra for the cooked options (french toast, crêpes) — the buffet on its own was underwhelming. The restaurant didn't meet expectations either, and there seemed to be a shortage of salt and pepper: waiters would take the cruet from our table mid-meal to pass to another one.

Beautiful pool area and gardens, lovely nature surroundings. Great views!

Staff were very poor, didn’t want to serve or help. Took 30 minutes to get the bill. Food very average. Only good staff were at the pool bar who were very attentive. Paid surcharge for dog but got no dog bowl etc.
