Staff really friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. The staff make the hotel as the hotel itself looks a bit tired and need in of a renovation but it was lovely clean and very comfortable

It’s a joined to the race course
In the room we were in the electrical socket did not have a separate outlet for phone cable,
Other rooms we have stopped in, times before all had then so I didn’t pack a plug (will do next time)

We were at a race meeting during the day so the location was excellent. Reception staff very helpful. Rooms were a bit tired and dated but clean overall. Comfy beds. Plenty of car parking. Bar/restaurant staff were excellent .
We booked an evening meal in the hotel. Placing our orders we were told there was no steak on the menu - not even for a ciabatta sandwich. Changed our order and the staff then had to come back and tell us there was no fish on the menu either so very disappointed with such a limited menu. Michelle saved the day by diffusing our friends growing anger. Holiday Inns should be able to do better than that.
