We spent two days at the Jnane, to get some down time with the family after two days in Marrakesh. It was the perfect antidote to the bustling city. We read, played cards by the pool, ate at the hotel and just generally had a very relaxing time. The kids met other children and were happily occupied by the pool. Staff were helpful and friendly. We had a lovely stay.

Breakfast was excellent, continental style with lots of choice and beautiful seating area in the garden.
Location- approx 10min taxi drive from the main square. Fatima and the team are always happy to book a taxi for you. There is only one restaurant within walking distance but we were aware of this when we booked and feel that the beautiful gardens and pool were worth the trade off for us.

Love the accommodation. Perfect base outside Marrakech with large garden and pool. Bar area and lots of seating. Rooms very clean and
The only thing that we did not like was the breakfasts.

Wonderful experience! Very relaxing!

Food very good value for money & very good! Loved it was located only 20mins drive from hectic Marrakesh & was quiet/relaxing. Perfect to dip in & out of Medina and return to tranquility.
Liked all of it…pool was a bit cold however we were there in February so I’m sure would’ve been nice & warm in Spring/Summer.

Staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.
Facilities are great, lovely garden, oasis of green just 15min from the Medina
Great breakfast and dinner.
A very nice alternative to staying in the Medina
Some rooms are a bit dark

This became my home in marrakech.
At Jnane Leila we really feel at home.
- The staff is so friendly and highly available,
- The location is calm, far from the noise of the city center and well located with quick acces to downtown avoiding the traffic,
- Rich kitchen with reasonable prices
- The ambiance around the swimming pool is very pleasant we made lot of new friends during our different stays.
Don’t expect big luxury in the rooms but they are well equipped (TV, AC, Fire corner, bathroom…) furnished with authentic local style.
Missing minibars in the rooms

Nice Grounds that's as far as it goes
Wow WHERE TO START !!!
I had high hopes for this place, however from the moment me and my partner checked in - was greeted by a man In a white shirt ' still don't know who he was .
After 2 nights of noise , barking dogs across the way - all night & what sounded like machinery or air con unit In another room - I could not wait to get out of there
Value for money - DEFINITELY NOT
cleanliness- POOR
Dust and dirt on our tiny terrace
Sun loungers - DUSTY
Arrived 3 hours after check in - Room was not ready
On entering the room - was left a quarter of tissue roll
Dirty towels , had marks all over them and some sort of residue .
Tried changing towels , they was taken.away and given the exact same ones
Toilet tissue run out , asked for some and was told there wasn't any on site and was handed a tissue pack
Trying to get served at the pool bar- DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT .
The man in the white shirt , will see you sat there- no urgency to serve you , not until he has finished his call on the phone- he always seems to be on ' RUDE !!!!
NO TOILETRIES IN ROOM AS STATED ON FACILITIES LIST
Was left a childs sized soap
Staff seemed pushed for time , still no one asked how was the stay ' especially on check out!!!!
I would advise anyone against staying here ' WASTE OF MONEY & SHOCKING SERVICE !!!!
Breakfast very poor !!!!
Water was cold on the first nights stay so no shower - after our long flight !!!!
STAY AWAY !!!!

Very friendly staff and spacious surroundings. Especially the pool area.
A lot of traffic noise from the Boulevard.

the gardens and outdoor seating areas were beautiful and the staff were very kind, welcoming and helpful.
the room was very dark, the bed had hairs (that weren’t ours) all over it and there were massive ants all around the room and in the bed. There were also some plumbing issues, the toilet smelt of old rotten urine and when we woke in the morning there was a large puddle around it. The shower worked but the parts were all broken and you had to hold the shower head to wash. As well as this, the left hand sink had a big leak in it and after running it and then coming back we realised there was a big puddle in the bathroom. Although the outdoor space was beautiful, keep in mind that the hotel is located on a main road and all you can hear is traffic throughout the day and night. Although we were only there for one night before our flight home, we were a little disappointed at the cost of the room and the quality and up-keeping of the rooms in comparison to the other places we had stayed at during our trip. It’s sad as this hotel has great potential !

The rooms are very beautiful and spacious. The pool area was great and the food was really delicious!! The staff, Adil and Fatima were very nice and helpfull. I will definitely come back for another stay!

very nice place, staff was very welcoming and helpful , thanks Adil
swimming pool area was great, rooms are confortable and originally decorated and breakfast was tasty and diversified
I wouldn’t say didn’t like, but the room of improvement is the dinner snack : we tried a burger, a tacos and pasta , it was not bad but a 5/10

Adil, the manager is a great guy who values the comfort of the guest above all else. The property is as beautiful as the pictures and it is a bit far of the beaten track out of the hustle and bustle of old medina, it is an oasis in the edge of Marrackesh. Just to clarify, if you stay here you will need a car otherwise you will have a very difficult time
Some of the facilities and rooms are rundown, it needs major update. The room we booked had a disastrous bathroom, the toilet won’t flush, and the shower was a tiny stream of water. There was no fridge in the room or a safe. This was all remedied when we spoke to Adil and he upgraded us to a suite free of charge. We even extended our stay one more night because of his awesome hospitality.
Another major concern is the bartender in the bar by the pool, he is one of the unfriendliest people I have ever interacted with in a hotel/restaurant. The spa lady is extremely persistent in a completely unprofessional manner.
The entire property shuts down at 12am and they close the front door and turn of most of the lights, but there is a doorman who was always attendant for late arrivals.

Nice calm hotel, away from city noise, suitable swimming pool and nice small delecious breakfast. The room was kind of heritage style. Staff are friendly and the place is wonderful
Check in has been delayed despite I called prior my arrival, the location in booking is not accurate, taxi to the downtown is expensive.
No fridge in the room!

the area was not great but that did not matter once in the accomodation and complex

The pleace is beutiful, the pool and garden areas are great.
The hotel have so much potencial, but its seems likes they stop trying to make maintence to the place. The room it's not very clean and the furnuture it's a little bit old/used. we had a small cute private patio in the room but it was very dirty.
A lot of ANTS everywhere, they could do something about it.

The breakfast is plenty awesome and succulent...the staff very warm smiling and welcoming, the pool is clean and comfortably relaxing
The TV is disconnected, I've asked for a remote replacement but wasn't answered but I don't care because I don't even watch TV at home.... If I had insisted they surely would have fixed it

This has been a comfortable stay on a very cozy, family-run place, with warm and very helpful people.
The place is beautiful and the traditional set up of the rooms and the common areas is very charming.
Overall, its a very nice place to stay and relax away from the busy noises of the city, and very good value for money.
The location is 15 min from the city center, so one needs to be aware of findings ways of transportation.

the gardens and pool are gorgeous and the location is nice to be outside of the Médina.
the room smelt damp and was very dark. i found a cockroach in the room. the food was not good and the service was so so slow. the hamman woman was really pushy and then weirdly put her son on the phone to me after my hammam which was so inappropriate.

Pool was very clean and a beautiful ambiance with lovely lights. Breakfast was great and plentiful. The room was clean and the bathing products were a nice addition.
There could have been more staff on site to take orders, but overall it was fantastic.

I think its the best hotel Ive been in my life…I really recommend it. The stuff is also incredible…Adil and Brain are charming and great. I cant wait to go back.

We loved our room in the traditional style and the gardens were just so beautiful. Everything including the pool was very clean and there was plenty of sun loungers and garden sofas for everyone to relax in their own space. The restaurant food is nice so you don’t need to travel into town to eat. It was so peaceful, tranquil and relaxing
There was only one waitress managing the breakfast and bar service. Even though she was so professional, friendly and working so hard it naturally meant a long wait time (average an hour) for food. It was hard to watch her rushed off her feet while the male manager just watched and didn’t help

The garden and pool-area are just incredible! It's the perfect spot to have one or two last relaxig days at the pool before taking a flight back home. The airport is about 15 min. by car.
The rooms are decorated in a tradiotional and a bit rustic way (I personally liked it very much) and very spacious. You've got everything you need and the staff is really nice and attentive.
The wifi didn't really work well and there are a few things, such as for example sockets or light switches, which would need fixing - but nothing seroius. I definitely recommend, to stay here.

The manager, Adil, and his assistant, Fatima, were such wonderful hosts - they always made sure we had everything we needed, and treated us like family. The gardens are stunning, full of beautiful flowers - the jasmine was so fragrant, you got a lovely waft of it from time to time. I loved the pool, which gave us a lovely respite from the hot sun. That's not to mention the food, which was exceptional. The Moroccan salad was so good, I had it four times!
Sometimes we had to wait a while for our food to arrive during the day, but it wasn't a problem, and we understood that there was a lot of demand on the small number of staff.

The place is beautiful, very nice garden, flowers, amazing swimming pool and outside areas to have diner and breakfast.
They very nicely upgraded us for free to a better room, and even brought us to the airport by car for free! Very nice.
We could easily get to the medina/city center by bus (5 dirham, 20min) if you are fine to wait for it. Otherwise, it was also easy by taxi: and quite cheap, our best deals were around 50 dirham to get to the center!
We arrived a bit late at night and the welcome was not the warmest unfortunately (compared to other places), it could easily be improved by offering a tea or something. Maybe we were just unlucky and it is usually better. Then it was not always easy to find someone from the staff, sometimes it felt empty. But this got much better the following days.
The rooms are clean, unfortunately we had a lot of mosquitos (that's not the hotel's fault) but it was weird to see so many dead mosquitos on the walls of the room. That could easily be cleaned :)
This place is great and with some small improvements could be excellent.
