Everything was perfect!! I highly recommend it

Perfect location for exploring Cinque Terre, with the train station just a short walk away. It’s also close to plenty of restaurants and the main areas of La Spezia. The host was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The bed and pillows were not very comfortable. The mattress was extremely soft and sank quite a lot under your weight, while the pillows were very firm. This is something that could be improved for a more comfortable stay.

Proximity to train station, newly fitted out, clean and good value for money. Very communicative host.

AC was a bit temperamental - we were cold in the night and couldn’t adjust the temperature despite following all the instructions. It was on or off. Also, one room key so no electricity for fridge, charging or AC when you go out ( worked by room key). It could be our error but we’ve travelled a lot and this was the first one we couldn’t work this time. Our apartment was split level and there is a step you could easily fall down, especially in the night when using the bathroom Side street very quiet at night - not sure I’d recommend to solo travellers

I booked this place to be paid by card before I even arrived, however, they did not charge me. So I arranged for the check-in between 12-13 and the guy left before our arrival with the instructions on how to check in. I thought no worries they’ll charge me through Booking.com as per my booking indicates. Then the fuzz started and they called me over and over as if I was trying to run from the bill, meanwhile I was still enjoying my holiday with my family. Furthermore they wanted me to sent my credentials directly to them, which I am pretty sure goes against the policies of booking.com, but at least for the EU laws on GDPR. We both escalated to booking.com, but he escalated it as if we tried to run from the bill, while the booking was made to be charged by booking.com and he had left himself before we arrived and was not there when we checked out. Therefor with this kind of behavior I can not recommend this place, I don’t know what their agenda is, but I fixed the payment after that and complained to booking.com
