Walking into the hotel u was greeted by a lovely receptionist. All smiles and welcoming. Well sized room and bathroom. Thought I had left something when I checked out. Called the hotel and it wasn't there. Called them back to let them know I had found it but no answer. Bit and this is a good but the hotel noticed my missed call and phoned me back. Good size hotel with a feeling that every visitor is important.
If i had been on the upper floors I wouldn't have been happy dutle to the lift being out of order but I wasn't and that would be the only thing I could fault them on. I will happily return and I only live 10 miles away.

The area is quiet and beautiful. We like to nip off for the odd night away to chill and I haven’t stayed here for more than 20 years so booked out of curiosity
The Hotel has been taken over so is clearly being modernised.
The key lock system didn’t even work but I am sure in time it will be a beautiful property again
