The food in the restaurant was amazing. A different offer every day. Salads were varied and tasty. The staff in the restaurant were professional but friendly. The room was cleaned daily and was spotless but could do with an upgrade in terms of furnishings.

The pool area was a disaster. For a 5 star hotel there was no service whatsoever. Not enough beds for all the guests and umbrellas were all broken. Guests had to move beds around the pool area to get out of the sun. When complaints were made the ONE pool attendant shrugged and said go and complain to the manager!! The bar on the beach apparently does not now belong to the hotel and is hired out. Drinks are very overpriced and the staff couldn’t care less. The hotel does have beds in a special area for guests but again very uncared for.

Very good location, quiet, comfortable rooms , excellent pool and beach, very clean everywhere, good food, very studious and kind staff! One of the best hotels in Bulgaria!

There was nothing I didn’t like, may be some of the rules were a bit restrictive like the free beach chairs were to the side and there were paid ones reserved centrally - but still there were free ones as advertised so nothing major.

Very pleasant place with friendly staff (especially Valeri - the piccolo). They checked us in way ahead of check-in time, which was very polite, given we were with a baby. They had upgraded our stay to a see-view room for free, since we were first-time guests. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic. Everyone at the restaurant were extremely polite. Very special shout out to all the chefs - they do magic!

One thing that could be managed better is the "private" beach access. If this is what you advertise, then make sure it is accessible. One of the reasons why we picked this place was exactly that, and it wasn't very nice to get there in the morning and see every sunbed being "reserved" with someone's wet towell, so that someone could sleep late in the morning, and guests with little children (who visit the beach in early hours) be deprived from something we have paid for. We were quite surprised, as well, when they said parking was paid extra. I hoped what I had read in reviews would not be true, since a close friend recommended the place and I asked whether parking was really paid extra, to which she said "no"; so I am not entirely sure how they pick who is to pay or not. We paid so the car could be outside on the street, not even at the car park. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying, but for a hotel of this rank it would really look better if the charge were just added to the booking.

Property is well kept, the food variety and quality is excellent. I have traveled around the world and this property is top 5% of all the branded or family owned hotels I have stayed in. The location on the beach is great. It is quiet at night and you can get a good night sleep. The Black Sea is much better than the Mediterranean or Caribbean - not as hot and humid, almost no waves on most days, clear and calm water.

The free chairs and umbrella were very limited. The Helena bar on the beach had taken most of the beach and is renting chairs and umbrella but they were not a good value. Parking is tight and limited.

Great location and right by the beach -nice rooms and facilities . Breakfast was incredible .

staff weren’t that engaging and dinner wasn’t great for a hotel of this calibre -avoid the ‘beef’.

It’s an oasis away from all the trouble.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

Overall good cleanliness of the room and the common areas. The food is delicious and there is great variety of options. Location is super convenient.

The pools were not as clean as one would hope. One of the bar tenders at the lobby bar was rather impolite. The evening entertainment is too short (1h) and often the music reaches 100dB which is harmful for adults, let alone for the many small children playing around.
