Tight quarters, dark and minimalist. No lobby to speak of and as the rooms were small no where to gather with our travelling companions .

The breakfast was excellent and I would like to commend and say a special thanks to the two wonderful ladies that served the breakfast and managed the hotel desk during our stay. They were excellent and we enjoyed seeing them each morning. They are the very reason that we are giving the hotel such high marks. Also, a special thanks to the chef that cooked our eggs in the morning. And, also a special thanks to the lady that cleaned and tidied the room. She gave excellent care.

The room was very nice. I would like it if it were somewhat more quiet. I realize the room faced the street and that it was on the 1st etage so reducing the noise could be difficult. Maybe next time we will ask for a more quiet room.

Very close to the Vieux Port in a very interesting area. Lovely looking hotel with lots of charm. Friendly personnel

Although the hotel is very well situated for the "Vieux Port" , it's almost impossible to get there by car / taxi. We were dropped off close to the hotel and had to walk a few minutes. When we went to the airport, we couldn't get picked up from the hotel, we had to walk to a "meeting point" , a few minutes walk. If you travel light it's not so bad but if you have lots of luggage or heavy luggage , it's not easy.

This turned out to be much better than I expected. Right in the city center, not expensive, in a building that's probably 300 years old. There's a bar downstairs, nice breakfast, the bar is loud but then it closes at exactly 22:00 so it doesn't bother your sleep. The windows face one of the central streets so you can watch the city from your bed if you want to. I've slept with the window open and really enjoyed this place. Usually I don't write reviews but here I just want you all to know that price/value is superb.

Wonderfully centrally located to Old Port and the attractions and restaurants. Lots of local color side streets.

Great location in the heart of the old city.

The room was small and the walls were dirty. The shower did not drain properly, but the staff quickly fixed the problem once I told them about it.

Very good location, short walking distance to the port.

The hallway is pitch black before the sensor lights come on. The stairs are in urgent need of repair. There are paper cups in the room for tea and/or coffee.

Staff --warm welcome; consistently helpful and friendly. Wish I had a couple more days
