Love Vilar do Golf!!

The chap on reception was a bit rude when we arrived as we parked in the wrong space & he was quite abrupt telling us we can’t park there!!

Fabulous resort with loads of facilities. We were upgraded to a two bedroom villa which was fabulous. The service of the staff was exceptional and the golf courses are exceptional. Would highly recommend and we will certainly come back. There is a supermarket on site plus restaurant options. The villas are private and very well appointed.

The location is great - overlooking the golf course and accessible to all of Quinta easily. The staff were lovely and did try help where possible.

We were 'upgraded' to a larger room than booked - however, the room we were given wasn't very nice and didn't look like the pictures we had booked. I think some of the rooms / apartments are owned and then lent to the hotel when free - so the apartment we were in had a very strong smell of smoke coming from the furniture and curtains. The hotel did try to help and came in to the clean the room and air but it still wasn't pleasant for our stay and we left with our clothes / belongings. We had stayed before and didn't have this problem.
