This was the perfect location. I had a walk out to the private beach and it's just a few minutes walk to the downtown restaurants and bars. Just note that it is not a hotel with all the accompanying facilities, it is a residence, but that was perfect for me.

We booked a 2 bedroom apt suite, which was described as having a living room and two bedrooms and with two bathrooms and a sofa pullout bed. When we got there, the cleaning ladies met us and gave us a 1 bedroom, which included a full-size bed, 1 rollout bed, and 1 sofa , and four of us slept in this one room. They also had another room that was supposed to be the "other" bedroom. But these two rooms were not connected and didn't have a living room space as what we paid for. The room was small and cramped. Unfortunately they didn't speak English and we couldn't communicate with them. The 3rd room we had was not livable because the air conditioning was not working, so we added 2 more girls into each of our rooms. The manager I had communicated with via email prior to arrival was not around to help or make things better. I emailed the manager about our rooms, and he stated we got what we paid for in "2 bedroom with 2 bathrooms." I would never recommend this place to anyone. The hotel takes advantage of foreigners and travelers who can't dispute the rooms they're given because they know we have no other options once we're there. We paid over $1200 per night for the 2 bedroom apt which we did not review and over $800 per night for the room with no air conditioning so we couldn't use it. Nothing was done to rectify these issues. Stay away from this very unethical place that will take advantage of foreigners.

The only good thing about this property is the location. It is strictly a place to lay your head with no amenities. This is not a hotel but an apartment building that rents out rooms on the beach. It’s above restaurants with nightlife so it is quite noisy at night. The private beach isn’t on the water but it’s a few meters. There’s a private beach club in front of the buildings’ beach so you have to walk over to the crowded public area to access the water.

The hospitality at this place was the worst I’ve ever experienced. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. There plentiful actual hotels nearby that are a similar price (we payed $700 night for this place) and have staff and customer service and standard amenities. The price for what they offer is highway robbery. There’s no lobby or on-site full time staff. When you arrive you call the phone number and eventually someone will come to help you in. There’s no luggage assistance or valet/parking. You have to park up the street and either drag your luggage through the crowds and down lots of steps or hire the local porter service. The air conditioning was broken in the middle of August and our room was a hot box with windows that didn’t open. I called the number provided and it goes to a central answering center to someone who doesn’t work for the hotel so he told us to “email the property”. I sent several emails to the property which went unanswered. They made zero attempt to remedy the situation. The older Italian women on site threw her hands up and shrugged when I finally found her to confront her about the problem and she said someone would come to fix but they never did. The stark difference between the $700 nightly price of this building and a $700 hotel I stayed at the days prior was quite shocking. We had a beautiful hotel with a private pool over a cliff near Amalfi where we could go into the water with amazing breakfast. The staff was so so kind and treated us like royalty. This was a motel 6.

Facilities were nice

Management running it were horrible. We were expecting to stay at their other property by the beach where our friends were staying and had reservations at. Instead, two days before our arrival they moved us to another hotel up the mountain of Positano and we had to spend significantly more money on taxis than we budgeted. Whereas before we would have been able to walk everywhere. Very disappointed.

Nothing the AC did not work and the staff was non existent and also not helpful.

The AC did not work. The room was 95 degrees and had bugs. The sheets were dirty. Rosa took advantage of us and charged us more for the city tax than we were supposed to. Half our group got relocated to a different hotel last minute far from us. We ended our trip early because we couldn’t stay here.
