Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk, ook in het bij het hotel behorende cafe/ restaurant. En dat gaat al om 6 uur open, handig voor treinreizigers die vroeg op pad moeten

Noisy outside in front of the hotel most of the night.

The hotel is just a short walk to the French border and the Hendaia railway station that took me back to Paris, Here on a Monday and a lot of the nearby restaurants were closed! Luckily the hotel's own restaurant is more than adequate and the staff are charming. The beds were comfortable and there was an enormous fan to cool you down. If you're travelling by train the nearest station is Ficoba-Irun and not Hendaye/Hendaia - that's across the border in France. Oh, the room had a weird strip of LED lights on the ceiling that can change colour - not sure why. Similarly the shower rose is illuminated (???)
Should have realised from the map that the railway runs at the back of the hotel. The last train at night is at about 23:30 and the first in the morning about 06:30 - you have been warned! Oh, did I tell you they sound the train hooter as they approach Ficoba-Irun? Well they do. Not even the double glazing can keep that out but, hey, you're not going to be there forever are you? But it did make for a very tiring journey the next day back to Paris and on to London.

Clean and convenient to catch a train from Hendaye in the morning
The walls are made of paper. A charming neighbor started talking very loudly over the phone at 4am for 2 hours... it felt as if he was in the room. Impossible to sleep...

Near clean spacious room and restaurant. Breakfast was decent for the price but be warned the bar patio stays open late and if your room faces over the street you will hear the patrons. Unfortunately for us there was a guest who stayed late at the bar and then tromped upstairs and repeatedly slammed his door open and shut- we weren’t sure if he was teaching himself how to open and shut doors or what. Then he and his kids were tromping up and down the stairwell yelling at each other. They didn’t quiet down until I got up and yelled Silencio por favor. Otherwise the hotel was nice.

The staff, they were very helpful locked my bike up safely in the basement overnight. Friendly and helpful at all times , food was good.

great location, lovely staff. it’s clean, great balcony- value for the money.
it was sooooo hot. and couldn’t open the window cos there was an army of mosquitoes baying for my blood. either a mosquito net or air-con would be great.

So close to the start of the Camino del Norte.
The place was spotless but the people in the street were quite noisy and the police were dealing with them.

The price is to high for the conditions , very noisy and bedroom to small , is not the photos … And I payed more money for the dog
