Hotel Palacio Obispo

Great location with lovely views of gardens and beyond to the river. The room was soacious, clean and the bed was lovely and comfortable. The staff were helpful and the breakfast excellent with eggs how you want them and bacon freshly cooked on request as well as all the usual continental pastries, toast and excellent preserves. We booked one of the limited parking spaces right outside the hotel. The town itself is beautiful with lovely restaurants, cobbled streets and some great views across the river estuary to France.

Not much to be honest.

The location is excellent, as is the breakfast. The reception team were very accommodating in meeting our requirement for a late check in. It was our second visit, and we'd happily come back in the future.

Lovely former palace. Beautifully maintained and welcoming. Lovely Furniture and tastefully decorated. Housekeeping immaculate. Wonderful breakfasts. Very helpful, smashing staff. Very friendly.

Noise of water tank filling? In room 202. If a light sleeper it could be a problem. Steps weren’t mentioned, they could be a problem if mobility issues.

There was a disco playing horrible loud music about 50 yards from our room until midnight. Only about 10 people were present. Apparently this was because it was the last night of the festival, so avoid that (second week in September)
