There was so much space for our 4 children and 3 adults. Lots of outdoor space too, unfortunately the weather wasn't pleasant so we couldn't enjoy this. Great size rooms. Kitchen good size. The gas fire worked well with heating the sitting room.

There was no hot water in the kitchen, and only 1 person had a hot shower in the morning, and it was quick. After that, no hot water for any other showers. Could do with some mould remover in the showers.

It was too cold and no Wi-Fi. The fridge was out of order so made the Beep Beep sound all night. Range hood weren't woking. Most of windows were not opened. Some curtains were broken. Bathrooms were also so uncomfortable. Located at the top of the mountain, there are no nearby restaurants or convenience stores, making it inconvenient. My family was so disappointed that we stopped 1 out of 2 nights and checked out.

hot water was slow and finished. we were large group but the property is designed to cater. however the hot water was very slow and finished. the gate system was poor. getting out in rain to open and tha. shutting every time!! could be better

Poorly maintained and this wasn't advised to us. Oven didn't work. Microwave oven didn't work. Road to house was across debris from renovations. Restaurant was closed which again wasn't advised on the listing. No TV remote. Gas heater constantly switched itself off. No refresh of towels during stay. No dishwasher.

Everything, from the views the amount of space inside and out totally felt like we were on a secluded island, full size kitchen with everything alot of heating to keep warm and cosy, the host was extremely helpful and communication on everything and anything is vast. Would definitely reccomend to all.

The view is amazing, the house is big, and was warm when we arrived (thanks for letting the heaters on). Love the animals around (Alpacas and Deers)

Some friends couldn't sleep. They complained about the house being noisy because of the weather (It was windy). The house seems to need some renovation. Some light bulbs need to be replaced.

The view is amazing, staff were friendly, beds were clean.

Overall the place is quite dated and in need of some TLC inside and out. Some of the heaters were so dusty inside they were sparking internally and we could not use, the inwall gas fire place also had a lot of dust underneath and looked like a potential fire hazard. The oven wasn't working but we were compensated with an earlier check in, however they did mention they would also drop us some drinks but this never happened. All in all you are paying for the view and not the accommodation, don't expect 4 or 5 star accommodation and then you won't be disappointed.

Kitchen is old and there is not a dishwasher. All the curtains in rooms are very old and many are broken. no WI-FI and Sky TV.

Hands down the best view in Rotorua overlooking Skyline Rotorua. Every room has a view & is equally stunning. The property has a character of its own. Rooms are big and comfortable. We were a family of 8 and everyone enjoyed our one night stay. Hosts are honest and friendly. We were called and advised before check-in that ovens are not working & offered free cancelation. Also had it not been for the detailed text instructions from the host, we may have found finding the place a bit difficult as it is a bit tucked away. Value from money.

The outside area could do with a do-up but I'm guessing it is a work in progress. Few bugs & spiders, but not because the place is not clean but because of the location of the property.

The size of the accommodation, views, Sky TV, free WiFi, access to restaurant - there's nothing to not like!

The views, the house and the owner was very lovely! This is our second time staying at this place and i can atest that it has great improved! The place is a lot cleaner, new furniture added and no more mouldy carpet or walls. Also Electric blankets and heater are provided for every corner of the house which made it warm and cosy. Only issue is the limited hot water supply and the wifi. If travelling with a big group hot showers should be scheduled so everyone can have warm shower. Wifi doesn't work but not a big issue. The place is a lot better now, not sure if the owner has changed. Definitely the views will what makes you comeback to this place. Loved our short stay ❤️
