Excellent location in a quiet area. The room was spacious, with high ceilings, and impeccably clean. The host was extremely attentive to every need and made me feel like a member of the family. Thank you so much, Nelson! I highly recommend this place.

Very spacious, comfortable rooms and a super helpful host. Everything was absolutely spotless. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the host we super fast at responding to any questions and extremely welcoming. The accommodation is just a few minutes walk from restaurants and bars as well as attractions such as the Lello bookshop. While it's not in the centre of town, that makes it a little calmer and quieter.
The kitchen, dining and sitting room are downstairs in a separate area to the bedroom and bathroom. We were the only people staying and therefore had sole use of them but I am not sure if you might have to share them if there are more guests. While there is some hanging space, longer dresses will sweep the floor. The bathroom has high level windows onto the bedroom so that any light from them shines into the bedroom at night.

My wife and I stayed in the beautiful Maison des Amis Porto in late May. The Garden Apartment and house are beautiful, cool, clean and comfortable. The location is excellent within 10min walk of the city centre. Our hosts were most kind, welcoming and looked after us very well.
Our stay in Maison des Amis was too short only 3 nights and we are keen to return soon. Porto is wonderful.

"Grosses schönes Zimmer mit 2 Badezimmern. Sehr netter Vermieter, der uns viele Tipps gab. Lage optimal, mitten im Geschehen, dennoch sehr ruhig."
