The location was wonderful with exceptional views. The property is unique with it’s sprawling layout.

Loved that it was a little out of town, it was a bit of a hideaway, but the shuttle bus and water taxi got you into town in a flash. Staff were lovely, super helpful, and hospitable. All in all a lovely spot to be.
Drinks and food at the hotel were very expensive .... but so to is everywhere on the Amalfi Coast

great location.
massively overpriced.
only average standard of service - falls far short of 5 star standards

The location and the views were breath taking with the view from the dining/breafast room amazing! The tasting dinner at the restaurant was also a highlight!
The beach club was being renovated so that experience was very poor by comparison. Why they did not carry out that work off season is a question because the location was very nice.

Le Agavi was such a BEAUTIFUL hotel. Stayed here for two nights during our honeymoon and could not have been more impressed. The staff, the food, the services, the VIEW - I mean, there wasn't anything I could think of that was wrong for us. They have a restaurant right beside the ocean. We loved that they offered shuttle bus services that ran every hour for free that would take you to the main town in just 10 minutes, as well as a water taxi (we paid 30 euros total for the both of us) that takes you to town in like 5 min. Super cool, really nice hotel. I'd recommend to family and friends.

The view, the spa
Room was way too small and not updated. The bathroom was extremely small - difficult to take a shower. Also - there was a lingering sewage smell. Breakfast was average

Great view at breakfast . Hotel shuttle very useful into positano
Expensive food and drink. Although it’s a quirky feature getting too and from rooms down the hill is a major inconvenience. Much better to stay near hotel reception and pool.

amazing view, exceptional staff and spotlessly clean. Nice thoughtful touch on arrival to be presented with champagne and sweet treats due to celebrating special birthdays.
water for shower not hot enough. in room 701 no curtain/blind on bathroom window so people could see in. could do with an English entertainment channel on tv. More frequent shuttles to postiano.

rooms were beautiful and balconies were incredible with amazing views of the water and town of Positano. breakfast was delicious and the staff was so friendly and helpful. spa also amazing
La Serra was a disappointment, unfortunately. the food was not what I would expect for an expensive Michelin star restaurant and overall not worth it. also the location was definitely out of town - the free shuttle was helpful but only leaving once/hour was not very convenient

Shuttle to downtown every hour which is convenient. The older gentleman who works the night shift is an absolute gem and one of the only staff who didn't seem irritated we were there.
At over €350 per night, the place was honestly not worth the money. The restaurant and all amenities were insanely overpriced (€9 for orange juice?). La Serra restaurant, which claims to have a Michelin star, was not as good as the €168 bill for two would indicate it should be (very small portions; good but not €50 per plate good}. The "private beach" was not open or available to us. You get 1 hour free in the spa every day but no one told us this means you have to book a private session of which there are only about 8 every day. Housekeeping was routinely very late in the day and twice we were disturbed at night for turndown service although we had the "do not disturb" sign on (they just walked right in). Our queen sized bed was just two twins pushed together. Not to mention the staff repeatedly treated my partner, a black man, like he didn't belong there, for example asking his room number all the time when he was just minding his business at the hotel. The views were obviously incredible but you could find the same for a fraction of the cost somewhere else in town. Save your money and get an Airbnb. I know I sound harsh but for the price I expected more.

The Remmese
After a ten minutes ! call from a woman at the reception she told us that we cannot book the gym during our stay.
Bathroom is usually bigger than the room.
The service people at the beach seems to be in holiday, not the guests.
Way to the sea was closed without reason, I asked why, they told me it’s the order from the manager. It was not possible to speak to him.
