Sofitel Roma Villa Borghese

The breakfast selection was delicious, muesli, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cheese, eggs something to suit everyone, all served on a sunny rooftop overlooking Rome, by friendly efficient waiters.

Nothing, everything was excellent and I will definitely stay in this hotel again when in Rome, but it would be nice to be offered a glass of water on arrival.

Restaurant on the rooftop was amazing. The food and in special Carbonara pasta was spectacular.

Housekeeping staff very pleasant. Easy to get in and out . Not a very busy road

Price of the accomodation.

Breakfast was very good, the rooms are clean and modern, as you would expect it from a 4 or 5 star hotel.

The so-called "junior suite" we rented should honestly just be labelled a standard room. It is far too cramped to comfortably accommodate two children sleeping on the couch, and there is barely enough space to walk around the bed. I cannot see how this could reasonably be offered as a suite. However, the aspect we found most disappointing was the view from the windows. For €1600 per night, I would certainly expect a room with a proper, usable window. Instead, the room we received had only two small windows looking out onto a tiny backyard, cluttered with pipes, fences and air conditioning units directly in front of us. We ended up keeping the blinds closed for our entire stay. This was one of the most expensive rooms I have ever booked, and without a doubt, the most embarrassing.
