The breakfast was marginal. I found all the wait staff for both breakfast and dinner needed better training.

For dinner the wait was ridiculously long. They never asked if I would like a drink just asked what I wanted to eat, I said I would like to have a drink first. At breakfast I had to ask for a napkin. The bar has no drinks other than margaritas and the sort No cocktails at all. For the class of establishment they are trying to portray they aren’t hitting the mark. Hence my remark wait staff needs better training.

The staff were wonderful. Daniel at the pool was amazing; attentive and friendly. Also, in La Casona, Santana and his team were also lovely.

I couldn't have been happier, except for the last day. We had paid for all inclusive and on the last day, we asked for a late checkout. The hotel was less than 40% full and they charged us $150 USD extra for the late check out, which was disappointing.

I loved how helpful all of the staff was. They were all very kind and attentive. They remembered our names and when I lost my ring in the sink, they immediately were able to get it out. One of the best spas i've ever been to!

Some of the staff could not speak English at all so we had to wait until someone else came to be serviced. but there were a lot of English speaking staff so we did not have to wait for too long.

The restaurants offered a great variety of excellent food. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The facilities were clean and the rooms were roomy with great closet space.

There was an electrical outage one evening that lasted a few hours. Luckily it occurred during our dinner so we just hung out in the restaurant enjoying the sunset.

I did not appreciate the hotel trying to upsell my reservation by trying to get me to buy an extra “ Club Card” that would give me an extra percentage off services and tours etc!! I was tired after a long day of travelling and we got pulled away to a separate desk after our checkin so that we could spend more money!! it was not a great first impression!! It was on a public beach and the vendors were very aggressive with their sales, I didn’t mind the artisans but the vendors trying to sign you up for beach massages were relentless… you couldn’t take a leisurely walk for 5 min (with headphones in listening to music) without being forced to make eye contact and answer them!! As well as the horseback riding was non stop and sometimes the guy would sit on the beach facing the hotels and the people trying to enjoy the beach lounging and block the beautiful beach views. It forced me to think about how those poor horses are made to walk up and down the beach in the blazing sun all day long!!

It is was really annoying the persistence of the share sales staff to set up an appointment for a walk around and conference. For dinner, La Casona’s menu was poorly executed and the wait between the courses was too long. Not a good value for the money we paid.

Very spacious rooms with large balconies some of which include a kitchen with washer and dryer, additionally they have a well equipped gym also very nice if you want to keep your workout routine going. The buffet breakfast was included and was really wonderful, the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating.

very nice, clean rooms, staff at front desk, pool and restaurants were extremely helpful and pleasant. pool area was large and beautiful views of the ocean. the staff enhanced the experience.

our room was a bit dated with several things not functioning. items were replaced immediately upon request. several areas of the property are in need of updating.
