Maxim, Natasha, Sephora and Rachel were all so brilliant at looking after us and making us feel we were at home so much so we didn’t want to leave! the location is perfect an oasis in the centre of the busy Kloof street area so it’s easy to go for fab meals locally. The bed was really comfortable and the room was large and bright with a good bath and separate shower. Breakfast was delicious especially the homemade muesli.

le cadre, le personnel souriant et disponible, l'accueil chaleureux, le petit déjeuner copieux et excellent, la table garnie de cookies et de "sweeties" qui nous tend les bras dans la journée. Un petit coin de paradis calme qui plus est à 100m d'une rue animée où l'on trouve toutes sortes de bars et de restaurants

l'humidité un peu combattue par le radiateur à bain d'huile, mais un radiateur supplémentaire dans la salle de bain serait appréciable...

The breakfast spread was amazing with lots of choices. The bread was delicious along with the warm croissants. Electric blankets were a plus in the winter. The hosts were good company and the whole place had a lovely ambience. Location was perfect for us. Tucked away and quiet but right next door to plenty of restaurants, Thali Indian restaurant was exceptional. The Mexican bar/restaurant was also a popular spot.

there can be. but if noise from the bar next door - if you are a light sleeper, pack some ear plugs. it didn’t bother us too much, though.

Brilliant location, peaceful garden and nice staff

Even on their own parking places you will be approached by the ‘parking guards’ almost every time you leave (sometimes rude if you ‘only’ pay 6 zar). We stayed couple of days and went out couple of times by car, so this was a bit annoying.
