The White Horse

Staff lovely, breakfast amazing, bed very comfortable. Shower and bath good. Good position in York for all amenities.

Bathroom very tired, needs refurb.

Local pub and b and b, in excellent location, staff absolutely fabulous, was made to feel so welcome. Breakfast superb 👌

Nothing!

Very friendly staff, very helpful, comfortable room, excellent breakfast

Decor a little outdated, quite a lot of stairs so no good for people bad on their legs or disabled

Excellent location, comfortable bed, good breakfast, reasonably clean, friendly staff, large smart TV in room. We paid £800 for 2 people for 6 nights which on reflection seems fair.

Very little storage space for clothes and suitcases (especially as were there for 6 nights). Only one clothes rail, one bedside cabinet per bed with a very small shallow drawer and a shelf. Only one chair. Only powdered milk provided for drinks, only two biscuits on first day, none after that. Nowhere to put toiletries in bathroom. Very noisy and strange plumbing. Karaoke went on until 1 am on Saturday morning - no chance of sleeping until it ended. Some other nights noisy but others were quiet. No net curtain at window which meant occupants of building opposite had direct view into room. Property quite tatty overall.
