The hotel was close to the beach and plenty of bars & restaurants.
My room was very clean as was the bathroom. Breakfast was lovely.
Didn’t find anything I didn’t like at the Celymar.

The hotel was clean and modern and had a lift. The balcony was nice and I had a comfortable stay. It is 10 minute walking distance from heart of old town and also enjoyed the pool rooftop at a sister hotel. I got breakfast and it was nice. I would recommend and return.
Having the key code and having to go to another hotel for this late at night, however the place itself was good value.

The room was basic but clean and the daily attendance was good.
Breakfast was basic but adequate (and predictable by day 7 :)
Good coffee bar just around the corner that also served excellent Rioja, and some excellent restaurants in Tapas Alley, at the Yacht club and leading from Mal Pas beach to the main street.
Play de Mal Pas beach is a must - quieter, cleaner and less crowded that Poniente or Levante.
Benidorm was a very pleasant surprise
There could have been more coat hangers.
They could consider offering beach towel rental for the week, as it was, we had to buy beach towels.
The bathroom was small such that it was a close encounter between your nose and the shower glass when sitting on the WC!
The published distance to the nearest beach, I recall was 350 yards - that is a stretch of the imagination! I would say more like 6-700 yards on an incline that might be difficult for some.
