The situation of the property and the friendly feel of the place. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We have stayed here several times and hope to be back again.
There were no negatives.

Good selection of real ales at the bar

Only minor minus point was no cereal choice at breakfast before the cooked Cumbrian full English (which was very good)

Great location, food wonderful!
We paid the same price for our double standard room as our friends, however our room was very small and the the shower room tiny! You could not shut the bathroom door when getting in and out of the shower as the shower door hit the sink and there wasn’t enough space! The bed was also a little uncomfortable with some springs starting to be exposed. Room 5 should be a cheaper price!
