Sunset Beach Resort

The room (studio) was big, had small kitchen, huge balcony, good cleaning, huge swimming pool, friendly staff. Breakfast was good but not wonderful. Everuday it was the same and for example no wholewheat toasts, only white bread, coffee was below average, yugurts only with added sugar. But good variaty of fruits and vegies and eggs of any kind. The main reason I chose this hotel was the best surfing spo in Thailand - Kalim, right opposite the hotel. So for me the location was prime.

The hotel itself is a bit old, but well maintained. I really did not like 2 things: no electicity outlits near the bed - only near the TV so I coud not cherge the phone next to the bed. And the 2nd (it was the worst) - aircon almost did not work in their gym. The gym itself was not bad (a bit old and rusty but I did not mind about it) - what was really bad is that when I excercised there I almost could not breath because of the heat (even if I turned the aircon to maximum). And If you plan to swimm and bath in the sea in front of th hotel - then you will not be abel to do it. There are sharp stodens and a reef which produces good waves for surfing (not for beginners level but for intermediate+).

Too many Indian and arab staying

Opposite the sea. Beautiful view, friendly stuff, swimming pool awesome, stiluff are always friendly and helpful.its our 5th time there and we love it. Will go back every year. Free shuttles to the mall, bsngla road and back l

The pool was great, and the restaurant was good.

It said it was beachfront and it is not beach front. You cannot swim opposite as it is too rocky. The bar in the pool was not operating which was disappointing. Pool closed early as did most of the facilities such as the massage. It was disappointing.
