Aparthotel Adagio Bordeaux Centre Gambetta

Excellent facilities and pleasant staff

Gym was very small

We were upgraded to a larger room which was great. Very spacious. Rooms are well equipped with everything you need for an overnight or few days stay. Surprised that the bathroom had a separate bath and large shower, which you don’t get in majority of hotels (even the more expensive ones). Hotel only provides breakfast in the space as the reception area. We didn’t take breakfast so unable to comment on that. The staff were excellent. All very pleasant and helpful. Hotel has private parking underground. It is not dedicated to the hotel but the hotel has plenty of allocated spaces and is well laid out. We were in Bordeaux to see a concert at the Auditorium and we hadn’t realised when we booked the hotel quite how close it was to the venue. Only a 5 min walk, so perfect location for the venue and Bordeaux city centre in general.

Nothing to say here. If you want an excellent value simple hotel stay in a perfect location then you should definitely consider this hotel.

Spacious room and balcony overlooking a nice and quiet courtyard. Kitchenette with a fridge and stove; we didn't need but it was convenient. Great location: at the entrance to Old Town - great location, 10 min walk to cross Old Town to the riverside/ multiple parking choices, including free parking on the street on Sunday. Their garage overnight rate is less expensive than municipal underground parking. Spa is a mockery - open 3 hours per day, of which it takes an hour to heat the sauna and steam room. Don't know about breakfast, but it didn't look good price- and quality-wise compared to outside options. Overall is good, inexpensive (except breakfast), and clean place to stay while staying in beautiful Bordeaux
