Excellent location beautiful room good food friendly staff very clean would love to go again if it was not such a long way from where we live.
The lift was not working but they changed our room for one on the ground floor so all good in the end.

Lift out of order, When checking out didn't get an invoice until i got home (email) i was charged for two breakfasts only had One a week on still not resolved BEWARE

The room was nice, spacious clean and tidy. Staff were pleasant.
Breakfast was ok, although the scrambled eggs looked like porridge and the wasn’t any cut fruit. Only one person serving a very busy breakfast due to the wedding the day before.
They tried their best to accommodate, I asked for an omelette which I got, but it was rather in the dark side, very big (at least 4 eggs) looked more like a thick pancake or quiche.

Stayed here a couple of times before. Rooms are 100% fine, comfortable and clean. Lovely building, and nice grounds. Food was fine.
Refurbishments to the bar area make it look a little 'garden shed' rather than chic and the the lighting was too stark. In fact the lighting throughour was so bright that the temporary dining room (due to a function) had the feel of a school canteen, especially as tables were not even dressed with linen. Staffing is not quite as attentive as needed; probably too few staff for the number of guests.
