Fantastic hotel, great location, however...

Very noisy rooms, walls are thing and there's little to no sound insulation which means when drunk people play table football outside the room at 1am you can hear it all!

Le Clos Marcel is ideally situated lakeside with breathtaking views and access to the lake. Our room had an amazing view.

The room was tiny. There wasn't room to open my suitcase or store it. The room was very expensive indeed, no doubt due to the stunning location.

The location was wonderful. The afternoon sun, the lounge chairs by the lake, the sleek design of the buildings. It was convenient to rent a bike right at the property. Stand up paddle boards were also available.

The room had a beautiful view of the lake, but it was configured strangely so that there was very little surface area to put your things down on. Very little space to walk around the bed and most importantly, no air conditioning. It would have also been nice to have instant coffee provided in the rooms, instead of just tea.

Access to the lake, sunbathing facilities and restaurant. Staff were also really nice

if I’m being picky I would have preferred the room to be cleaned a little earlier and a heated towel rail

The room is relatively small and cramped. And there are no air conditioners!!! It was just terrible in the heat

The lake view was stunning and the private beach area spacious and relaxing. Staff were very helpful.

Our room (probably the cheapest option) was very well designed, but very small. felt quite constricting when the weather wasn’t good enough to use the outside space.

Loved everything about this hotel! Super location on a beautiful part of Lake Annecy. Fantastic room with our own terrace overlooking the lake. Sun beds & towels were provided. Great restaurant for an evening meal & breakfast. very good & friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Shame about shed in front of our room as it impeded our view to see lake in its glory. No cushions on outdoor seats just hard plaster. As above

Evening meal was very good indeed. Quality and presentation well up to standards expected. Waiting on staff were friendly, helpful. Cold Buffet breakfast was varied and good. But at 18 Euros a little overpriced

Information on opening/serving times for breakfast was totally confusing. So missed breakfast on first morning and had to "perch" at coffee tables in bar. We were told quite abruptly that there were no tables available as they were being reset for lunch 2 hours later. Hotel had changed ownership 2 months earlier and receptionist said she had a list of things that would be changed. No tea making facilities and just one chair in our double bedded room. Lighting in bedroom insufficient.

Everything was wonderful starting from the nice staff the facility location, clean room and its fantastic lovely view and good breakfast. thank you.
