The food exceeded expectations by some way, everything was utterly delicious. The room was beautiful. The bar was very busy and as we had dogs we had to eat in the bar, it was pretty noisy and that was slightly off putting, the staff coped well with the busyness but service could have been quicker if there were more staff maybe.

Lovely attention to detail in the decor, friendly staff, car park, quiet village setting.
Nothing, just a couple of small points as feedback- rooms and dining room were a little chilly. Also, coffee at breakfast could be improved/needs to be stronger.

The room was very well appointed. The restaurant food was very good.
There was no heating in the whole building and it was getting cold at night. When I asked about heating I was given a nest portable heater which was fine. I think the management could have been aware of clients' discomfort before being prompted.

Nicely decorated and comfy rooms.
Unfortunately the experience we had with our evening meal didn’t meet our standards.
We waited over 40mins for our desserts that never came. We had to go to the bar eventually to ask for the bill and for them to take the desserts off. The tiny scallops are not worth the £17. And the veggie sausages with breakfast were rock hard and like cardboard. No attention for vegetarians unfortunately.
