The hotel was in an excellent location and the owners went out of their way to help me. Although a single room the bed was a small double and the shower room was fine. The restaurant was very good.

no lift, building very shabby, rooms were small and basic, no air con, bathrooms were very small and very tired.

Fantastic location and staff. Authentic Italian lake accomodation - simple and straightforward.

Pillows were a little bit firm and high for me, but that is just a personal preference.

We knew this going in our stay that there wasn't any air conditioning in. Unfortunately we stayed during a heat wave which made it pretty difficult to sleep despite the fan that was provided.

The localization is excelent, right in the city center. We also had dinner one night at the hotel restaurant and the food was very good, very tasty tipical italian pasta. I recommend this place for a weekend stay in Menaggio.

The hosts were extremely friendly and helped us with every question we had. The restaurant of the hotel was delicious! The room basic but the view is just outstanding! Now considering the low price it is a must book!

The room had a view at the neighbouring building unlike in the ad, the bed was a bit small, and the facilities were a bit lacking.

As it was during a quieter time after covid, Menaggio was pretty quiet. A bit too quite for me and would have rathered stay in Bellagio or Varenna, but that’s just preference. Nothing against this property at all as family were great. Extra €5 a night for a room with lake view which wasn’t aware of on booking.com

Perfect location, very nice owners and good atmosphere. Cosy room with a small balcony and lake view. Great kitchen downstairs, recommended to make reservation to get a table for diner.

The only thing lacked was air conditioner in a hot summer day.
