Perfect condo and location for a couple. Can’t wait to go back. ❤️
Stunning view and direct access to the beach. Loved the location in Kapaa, Coconut Marketplace was such a bonus, above expectations. Islander had gorgeous grounds, nice facilities. It was just perfect for a couple. Loved the vibe and pace of the area. We stayed part of our trip on the south side in a very high end resort, and we both preferred the Islander in Kapaa to that!
Condo was fine on arrival, but could have been cleaner for sure. An upgrade to the bedding would be nice. There was a large armoire taking up space without a lot of functionality. Should be removed or add a bar to hang clothes. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper left for us, had to go buy more.

wonderful location with stunning views
my husband and I adored the location. It’s within walking distance to a number of cute drunk spots, a market and great restaurants. The ocean view was lovely to wake up too and we enjoyed its location in relation to the beach and pool/hot tub. planning to return soon!

Clean, good views, comfy-not a honeymoon suite.
This condo was delightful! We woke up and watched the sunrise from the unobstructed view on the balcony if not the beach (less than 50 yards away!) every morning! The room was clean, the bed and furnishings were very comfortable, and the AC worked great. The location is situated next to a nice market and good restaurants, centrally located on the island itself and close to the airport. The coffee shop IRMA next to the building is amazing! The employees were so welcoming that we went every day during our stay! The owners did provide beach towels, snorkel gear, beach chairs, and an beach umbrella -which were all in good condition.
Check in instructions were not clearly listed on Booking.com or in the numerous emails from the property which caused confusion at check in. The front desk personnel were helpful in situating this, however because this is a VRBO on a privately owned property they couldn’t help. The property owner did get back to us quickly, and we waited the extra unexpected hour at a restaurant across the street-no big deal just would have planned differently n not lugged our luggage up three floors had we known the room wasn’t ready for our arrival time, which the property manager asked for in emails, multiple times, to which I replied, multiple times. Clearly it was a miscommunication, to which she replied “It’s (the check in time) is listed in there somewhere-but I don’t know where, there’s so much written in there that it’s been missed before but you can check in at 3”. Thanks. Also there was no information that we’d have the snorkel gear or beach items, which would’ve saved us a large check in bag, but luckily we flew Southwest so we didn’t get charged extra. The market across the street has silverware, something we also assumed a location would have with a kitchenette. Also, while this room is lovely, the resort dulls in comparison to the adjacent resorts. The small pool was crowded daily with very intoxicated persons, the one hot tub was full constantly and we went in off season. Hardly the honeymoon suite it advised itself as, so I’m that capacity I’m disappointed. However, it was a nice stay.
