The Royal Oak Inn

The Royal Oak inn provided such a lovely stay. The team were so welcoming throughout our whole stay. The pub had the best food and drinks, with a truly British pub setting, combining traditional pub decor with a modern twist. The breakfast included was very generous and delicious. We also had dinner at the pub, which I would highly recommend. Our room was a lot bigger than expected, with a separate lounge area. They had everything that could be needed and even provided extra facilities for our dog. There was a lovely field out the back of the pub we were able to walk the dog in first thing in the morning. The location was ideal to be able to walk into Chichester, using the public footpaths. We also did a lovely walk in Kingley Vale. Highly recommend. Extra entertainment was put on my the small planes flying overhead and the vintage cars driving past the pub. We have been recommending the Royal Oak Inn to everyone and would love to come back.

Great location nice staff lovely rooms. Housekeeping great. Nice touches ground coffee and fresh milk personalised welcome note. Food good.

only fault was the ventilation system from the restaurant was directed towards my room so the noise was a little intrusive and the steps leading up to the property were metal which felt a little bit slippy potentially for somebody unconfident. Sink was too small to wash face over without getting water everywhere.

The staff were awesome, our room was huge and breakfast was excellent!

Stay was short.

One bed cottage style property right on the edge of fields so very quiet. Village very near Chichester

Cottage was oddly furnished with no proper kitchen area. Bedroom side tables did not fit so had been turned sideways so you couldn’t shut the door! The pub food was terrible but they accepted that and did refund.
