The Hadley Hotel

Very clean, fabulous breakfast and lovely staff

Nothing

Lovely friendly staff, very pleasant and helpful.

Lovely staff, room was very small that was allocated but reception was very helpful and moved me to a slightly bigger room opposite. Downfall of downstairs room for me, was a consistent noise/buzzing most of the night off and on- Possibly bar cooling fans which made my sleep a little unsettled and only 3 car spaces but plenty of spaces on the main road, so not too bad.

Check in was straight forward. Very welcoming and friendly staff. We had a suite for a night it was very comfortable spacious and clean. The only downside was watch your head if you are taller than 5ft 6 down to the suites or you could end up with a bump. We had an evening meal the night we arrived that was ok and breakfast was included in the room, would be nicer of the option of an extra hot drink at breakfast as this only includes 1 but apart from that food is good (lovely greek yoghurt)

Modern room, lovely bathroom, nice hot shower, easy to find, good size room huge plump pillows. Choice of fan or heater which was great due to no window in the room.

Upon arrival we were greeted but not in a very welcoming manner, Was a basement room with no window, very modern and fresh but needed better cleaning, very dusty all over, lampstands, kettle and phone covered in dust. Stains/marks all over the stools in room. Stain on shower mat and hairs in shower that did not belong to us. Breakfast albeit paid for with the room was disappointing, Cheap gritty ham on the eggs benedict and overcooked greasy full english. Only 4 parking spaces so parked on side road close, not a negative as such but states parking available on booking.com and all spaces were taken. Overall a good clean, better breakfast and a warmer welcome and i wouldnt be leaving anything in this box and we would return to try it again.
