The room was extra large with heaps of futuristic appliances, including a light up mirror, touch screen lights, and automatic bin. There is a big fridge in the room too.. The beds were gianormous, I had the best sleep I've had in a long time. The decor in the room is super fresh and bourgeois. Nice hot electric shower with big shampoo bottles. SYRI Guesthouse supplies free drinking water, tea, coffee, and snacks. The breakfast is mint too ! There are also lots of cute pussy-cats that the owners have adopted and one very relaxed dog. 😌. The staff are warm and friendly. Oh, I forgot there's a pool table !

Love the cats that hang around the hotel. Because the hotel has a mix of dorm and individual rooms and a communal area out in front, it’s great for meeting and chatting with people. Staff were a great help for booking transport. Slightly out of the busy old quarters but still only a short walk down to the food places and riverside market.

Rooms were a bit small and the heater spoilt during the first night but was promptly serviced when we told the staff.

Only stayed 1 night, Room was clean and huge, cats were a lovely addition. Staff were lovely and happy to talk or help with anything. Pool table in the front was nice.

The bathroom as just a corner of the room with glass separator and shower curtain was a little surprise but that would be only thing I could mention

I stayed one night at SYRI Guesthouse together with a female friend. We immediately felt home in the private room, it felt like being in our own bedroom haha. There are lovely cats as well (good to know if you are allergic!), which made the home-experience even better. They have a cute outside area as well and a relax vibe.

Propre et central

In fact, I chose to book here because I read reviews and saw a cat. On the day of check-in, the cat was very cute. The room was clean. The location was able to walk through to Pratu Sai, go to the morning market, and go to the evening market along the Mekong River, considered not far. The atmosphere in the hotel is considered good.

The internet signal is weak and extremely slow during the early evening when many people use it.

Room was big and comfortable, easy to work in, nicely decorated and secure. There was a nice space outside to relax downstairs. Hosts were lovely and helpful.

We wanted to pay in kip but the exchange rate that the hotel offers for this is much higher than the actual exchange rate.

the photos on booking made the place look much better than it was, is very tatty round the edges and there was a blood smear in the wall behind our bed and on the aircon remote.... it's a backpackers place really, and walls are very thin, so very noisy

Friendly staff (!) and close to the center. You can feel this was ones a great hotel, but covid slowed it down the last two years. Still great value for money. Clean rooms, warm water. 👍

The chill area's have a lot of potential. With a bit more light and some fresh paint it cheers up.

Schimmel, man hat es auch schon gerochen als wir das Zimmer betraten. Auf Nachfrage nach einem neuen Zimmer haben wir nur ein "ausgebucht" bekommen und es wurde in keinerlei Hinsicht entgegen gekommen. Leider hatten wir schon bezahlt. Zimmer A3

Très bien situé et proche du centre mais dans une rue très calme.

Les photos donnent l'impression d'un endroit luxueux mais ça n'est pas le cas. Il manque peu de choses cependant. Un peu plus de rigueur dans l'entretien serait bienvenue.

We’ve been travelling through south east Asia for 3 months and this place had one of the loveliest rooms we’ve stayed in so far! A beautiful seating area with a lovely big bed. The breakfast was also really nice and reasonably priced! A final bonus was the pool table downstairs and all the cats that live at the house

The bed was slightly hard, but it wasn’t so bad that we wouldn’t stay here again!

Everything! So luxurious for such a good price! Lots of furry friends around

Le fait ne ne pas avoir su qu’il n’y avait pas d’ascenseur. Escalier très mauvais quand on a 78 ans.

Amazing guesthouse - couldn’t really fault it! Gorgeous room, beautifully decorated. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely location and very cute pets!

WiFi wasn’t able to stream but fine for general use

Một khách sạn quá tệ khi tôi đến Viêng Chăn. Với giá 400 KIP thì phòng như thế này thì cũng tạm được. Nhưng dịch vụ của khách sạn thì quá tệ. Tôi đi 12h đêm về không dẫn xe vào được gọi điện cho khách sạn nhờ hỗ trợ nhưng không ai nghe máy, thậm chí tắt máy. Sáng ra cũng không 1 lời xin lỗi khách hay giải thích gì cả. Check out 12h nhưng 11h30 khách sạn nhắn tin cho khách bảo về trả phòng. Tôi chưa từng gặp 1 khách sạn mà đuổi khách như vậy. Tôi sẽ không bao giờ quay lại đây một lần nữa. Hình như chỉ tiếp khách tây chứ người Lào ( tôi đi với người Lào nên giao tiếp không phải vấn đề) và người Việt vào ở thì họ không nhiệt tình. I will never come back to this hotel. The service here is so bad. 👎👎👎

Really big & spacious bedroom - was very comfortable to sleep in. Very modern room which took us by surprise too! Had things in the common area to use like a pool table and free food etc. Staff were friendly and helped us arrange taxi transfers and any problem we had with the room. Lots of cats & dogs too. Wasn’t loud either and we were right by the entrance so we got a good night sleep!

Bit of mould on the walls in our room & some parts of the room didn’t feel very clean

Good value for its price compared to other hotels in the area. It is very central but a bit off the main strip. Therefore its more quite. The facility was okay, the room was nice. AC and everything worked well. Big bathroom. The receiption staff was amazing. I forgot his name but he was amazingly helpful, spoke well english and he would be a reason to book this place again. He helped us organizing train tickets to Luang Prabang and with a driver to some tourist destinations. He has the quality of a great concierge in a 5 star hotel. Great guy!

The shower was a bit dysfunctional but okay to use.
