Highly recommended hotel managed by amazing woman called boammaaruri. She is very helpful with everything and always with a big beautiful smile. The room is big with air-conditioned, flat screen TV, refrigerator. The Wi-Fi is very good. We had a great time

Beautiful property, the rooms are enormous, excellent service. They prepared a delicious local vegan dinner for us 🤤. I love that it's a female-owned and black-owned business. More business like this should be supported.

We had booked two rooms, but because of renovations in the hotel complex, they upgraded us to occupy an entire 5-bedroom house ("The Residence", actually a different property next door, under the same management). Very spacious, with a huge balcony with a bit of a view of the Chobe River. Every morning, they brought breakfast up to the balcony for us! They also served us dinner (which we only had once at the property) in the dining room in "our" house. Activities (boat cruise, trip to Victoria Falls, game drive) were organized very diligently, at a very reasonable price.

it’s not a hotel… it’s an old apartment block with a Hotel sign on the road outside. No reception, no river access, arrogant owner ( woke us up at 11pm to ask what time we would be ready for breakfast next day)

Sunbird’s Hotel was exactly like the pictures Boa and her staff we very friendly they went out of there way to make us feel very comfortable

Very beautiful guest house in Kazungula/Kasane. We booked a lot of activities with the structure at good prices (6h safari and boat safari, pick up at the structure). The room was very large, likes a suite! There Is a wonderful garden to relax. Boa was a very helpful host; She can arrange also short transfer to Kasane for lunch or other needs. For breakfast you have yogurth with fruit or muesli; in addition there Is a hot meal with bacon, eggs, toast...for dinner you can choose among 7/8 choises. Moreover Very good price!

No food on premises, the bar is to far from the restaurant, not enough parking, windows were left open during the day and I suffered with mosquitoes all night.

The rooms were large suites with separate bedroom, toilet, bathroom and living area plus small patio. Had a kitchen table and fridge but no cooking facilities. Clean and comfortable.

This "hotel" is basically unknown by locals even by taxi drivers and difficult to locate as no signage and a long way out of town tucked away at end of narrow sand track so you need a car to stay here. We luckily had one for most of our 6 night stay. Couldn't find hotel initially as sign outside says a private residence No 761. We wandered round the house and couldn't find anyone, then searched the large grounds. No reception office finally found a lady carrying a mobile internet hub and phone in her arms who directed us to a group of motel style rooms in garden. The house is for self catering and when someone in residence you are locked out of most of gardens. The swimming pool did not appear clean or inviting. Breakfast was haphazard and basic to put it mildly with a lad cooking in the house and valiantly carrying a tray backwards and forwards some forty yards to a structure by the pool. It was impossible to find anyone during the day and no staff after about 6pm. Staff were shy and unforthcoming and need training in customer service. No help with bookings or information. There was a security guard. Parking was minimal and difficult. The staff try their best but whoever owns this property needs to provide a reception area, better organisation and facilities to help them.

Very friendly and accommodating staff! We enjoyed the absolutely beautiful, lush garden, and were happy about the swimming pool, good food and washing services. While the furniture etc is all in good state the cottage itself would need some renovations. We also enjoyed the food, though there were not many options, it was really tasty.

For a very reasonable price, I had a suite of rooms larger than my apartment back home! All facilities were in good working order. Tea and coffee making facilities provided as well as complimentary bottles of mineral water. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel has extensive gardens attracting many birds. The staff, especially Ms Lelantle, and the cook [whose name I don't remember] were friendly and helpful.

I was told by Booking.com that a transfer to the airport was included in the room price. However, this was not understood by the staff, so the driver had to take me to an ATM to get the cash to pay him for the ride. This was a little embarrasing and caused a little delay. Booking.com maybe should make it clear to the hotel staff what they have told the customer is included in the price.

Gardens/lawns were fantastic. Breakfast was very tasty. Room was big and very nice. TV worked well.

No reception. Cold shower. No information at all. Couldn't pay for laundry done as nobody to pay to. Almost left without laundry as couldn't find it or them. You must book for breakfast and dinner but contacting them is difficult. No milk. Coffee whitner didn't work. Was in date but made coffee lumpy.

We really enjoyed the stay at sunbirds and will recommend to others. The staffs are providing good service to the guests. The garden/lawn pool etc are well maintained

There are few suggestions which the hotel can consider: 1. there is no telephone in the room and the staffs wont be around during the night time. So incase of any emergency its difficult to contact anyone 2. We couldnt find reception/office at the lodge. 3.Everytime we need the assistance we have to go and see the chef who will be there till 8pm. 4. There are no enough lightings for the lawn. On the first night there were lanterns kept in few places and rest of the nights the whole area was too dark.

The bigger bed in house 7. Good quality air conditioning. A very large smart TV with the right streaming apps😀.

The slower Wi-Fi, it’s usable though and streams very well.

The house was spacious. The place is quiet. It’s close to banks, shops, safari tours. The place exceeded my expectations. I’m definitely returning here.

The bed was normal length, extra length would have been best.
