The location was great

The flat is not really as it appears on booking, we rented it thinking it had a living room, and it did not. We stayed 4 days because we couldn't cancel, otherwise we would have gone to the first one. The second day we woke up without water, the third day without electricity and without water, we couldn't take a shower, the water came out brown when they managed to make it work. The flat was a bit dirty, there was no sheet to cover you with, you just had a duvet without a cover. We stayed later in another hotel and the truth is that it was much better than this one.

The location is perfect especially if it's your first time visiting as it's 1 min walking from the 'Mamsha', and most of the known restaurants are around u. Also, the owner is very friendly and extremely helpful. The room was clean and everything went perfectly. I had a great stay. Thank you!

Not so fresh smell in the fridge

the location was good, beach was 1-2 minute walk. also our hotel room was really big, kitchen (but dirty), 2 rooms and balcony! I really never leave bad reviews, because I hate to ruin the reputation of a business… but this place definitely needs renovation.

so this one time I’m about to take a shower… I go to the bathroom, I take one of my socks off… I look at the door and I see THE BIGGEST COCKROACH I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE 🪳 and don’t get me wrong, I have seen gigantic monster New York City cockroaches 🪳👹 but this one was just so huge and fat! I am a man but I even I kinda got scared because this is definitely not something that I was expecting to see… there is a big hole with electricity wires in the bathroom, I guess that’s where he came from… every time we went to the bathroom after this situation, we would be scared it would come back 👺 The condition of the hotel is bad, it’s dirty, not clean. we had 2 rooms in our hotel, in 1 room the MIRROR WAS BROKEN….. like come on. the charger plugs were horrible and Wi-Fi would barely work. I don’t recommend

The location and some clean sheets. The style of the balcony.

I messages to ask if it was sure that we got twin rooms and we were told before arrival that it would be fine. But when we arrived we were put in a different bigger place with two rooms, because we were told that our room wasn't available, and we were fine with that. Unfortunately my room wasn't clean, dust everywhere and dirty windows, and no lights working. The blankets smelled from other people so I asked for another sheet.. After calling the manager who claimed to be in Cairo, we went out for a few hours to give his cleaners time to clean and when we came back they hadn't done anything and when they finally came they used newspaper and a spray bottle, and one cleaner used the Arabic word for "crazy" and the other one laughed at my frustration. Also they were repainting and had left a new outside our door and did nothing to tidy it up. Please see picture. As we thought it was ok after the cleaning we decided to stay another night and then we were told we had to pay 40% more and that no other room was available. I tried to explain why this was unreasonable considering that we hadn't gotten any compensation the hours we waited for it to be cleaned, but then the manager told me that other places in Dahab were a lot dirtier so I should be happy. I told him that I've stayed in 7 different places in Dahab throughout the years and what he said was just wrong. Being an Airbnb host in Egypt myself I thought his attitude towards me was unacceptable, but typical how I'm treated as a European blonde and small framed woman. However, a host for Booking.com with international guests should be more professional.

Good location in the heart of light house, Said was helpfull and provided what we asked.
