Hotel Mittoz Holbox

Hotel Mittoz is the excellent choice for your stay in Holbox - right next to the beach! You will be at the heart of the town, with all the restaurants, bars and coffees at the walking distance within few blocks. Nevertheless, you don't need to leave the hotel at all - it offers big variety of services: excellent breakfast (tons of hotcakes :-), superb sea-food (one of the best octopus I have ever had), great coffee and deserts, and the perfect view from its rooftop bar during the daytime, as well great music and fun during the nighttime. On top of that, I have to highlight the great stuff and namely Nelson, who was of great help to our family, either by recommending and organizing the sightseeing during our visit, or by helping us with any other need we had. DEFINITELY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED HOTEL for your stay at Holbox!

There's not much we don't like. Only kindly reminder - you'll will be at the heart of the "fiesta" during the evening.

The only thing we had an issue with was the loud music from the band next door until 1:30 am every night! Everything else was fine. Staff was great and helpful.

Wir wurden wirklich sehr nett von dem Rezeptionisten aus Kuba empfangen, bekamen sogar noch Frühstück, obwohl es nach zehn Uhr war. Das Zimmer ist schön. Bett riesig! Die Balkontür schloss nicht und die Klospülung funktionierte nicht so - innerhalb einer Stunde wurde es repariert- funktionierte danach tadellos. Wir hatten 2 Abstellmöglichkeiten für unsere Koffer und die Dusche ist gross. Die Dachterasse ist sehr schön. Mit Blick zum Meer. Darunter eine Loungebar, auch wunderschön. Super kurze Wege zum Strand, Supermärkte, Restaurants, Bars, etc... Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich!

Das Frühstück ist lecker (3 Arten von Ei mit Salat, Toast und Kaffee oder Tee). Nicht sonderlich viel und auf Dauer im Urlaub etwas eintönig. Meine Seite des Bettes war sehr durchgelegen. Und leider keine Zimmerreinigung (war uns aber bei 3 Tagen nicht so wichtig). Keine Poolliegen oder Lounge oben am Pool. Wurde zu einem kompletten Restaurant/Bar oben umgestaltet. Schade. Und jetzt das wichtigste: tagsüber ist es angenehm, jedoch ab spät Nachmittag ist es laut. Sehr laut. Die Musik der Rooftopbar dröhnt durchs Haus und ab ca 21 Uhr wird jeden Abend im Hot Corner Livemusik mit anschließendem DJ Betrieb gespielt. Wir schlafen immer mit Oropax - doch man hörts noch. Kurz und knapp: Wer auf Holbox Ruhe sucht ist hier falsch. Wer feiern will, richtig - die Livebands sind klasse!
