Staircase right next to the property, giving us access to San Damiano. The staff was exceptional. Tara helped us with reserving a taxi to the train station on the morning of our departure. Breakfast was special, and to order for a small extra charge, and totally worth it. It was the perfect place to end our walk from La Verna to Assisi.
Be aware that it is a 1.5k walk to and from the Assisi town center (steep up and down hill) for restaurants and tours. We were aware of this when booking, and were prepared for it.

We liked the room, the breakfast and hosts were great, and the closeness to the church on the hill was great for us.
There really was nothing that we did not like.

The grounds and pool were amazing!
We flew from the United States and the first day we recovered from the trip with an excellent breakfast and relaxing morning by the pool! The view was breaktaking!
Our air unit needed repair, but the temperature outside was perfect for overnight…unfortunately, they were limbing trees in the olive grove so we were unable to sleep-in to catch up on our sleep. They started work before 8am. Still, we loved our stay and would return if visiting Assisi again. Sarah was wonderful and worked very hard to make us comfortable!
