The property was great and a good location. Just needed better internet and big range for internet. Could not get in the one bedroom and at front deck at the table at the end of deck. Overall it was great.

We were thrilled to see this cabin up for rent again! We stayed here many years ago when it had a different owner and are happy that this owner is sharing it as well! This is a cozy cabin with bathrooms for each bedroom (two en suite and one a few steps out into the hallway) which was important to us as we were traveling with our son and girlfriend and a close friend. The location is amazing…on the road circling Mirror Lake yet still private with lake access right across the road. We walked to town to shop and to stop in some of the many restaurants and bars. Every day we walked around the lake to take in the views and enjoy the fresh air. The hot tub was a great way to end the day and my husband got a fire going out in the backyard to take away the fall chill. This place would be excellent in the winter too with a nice wood burning fireplace in the living room. Football and chili by the fire after a day in the snow is definitely next on our list when we rent here again. The owner is very prompt with communication and we appreciated his quick resolution to a minor concern.

It was our second stay here, we really enjoy this property and all of its amenities. Clean, and great location.

A beautiful Adirondack cabin directly across street from Lake. We enjoyed location without being actually on the water. The hot tub & fire pit out back were a big hit. Very well equipped kitchen. Very quiet for great sleeping. There were a few minor issues that we tried to communicate with host but got no response. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The house was a great base to explore the area, then come back to comfortable and functional spaces. A spacious area to relax and unwind by the large tv and fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, powerful hot tub and comfortable beds are all great features. We also used one of the kayaks on mirror lake via the home’s access across the street which was wonderful. Appreciated being able to have a cool climate-controlled bedroom as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Upon arrival we noticed the grill still had food left on it, several lights didn't work or needed new light bulbs, cigarettes were left in the fire pit and the property was not very clean in general. There were exposed electrical wires where a light switch should have been and on the range hood. I contacted the property owner 3 times before he got back to me. He sent his maintenance person to the house who left us light bulbs on a table. Other then the location of this property we were extremely disappointed in our stay.

The property was beautiful but there were a few things not working. Initially when we got there the internet and TV didn't work but we realized nothing was plugged in. The day we were leaving from what I understood from the housekeeping personnel was that we were the first rental of the season. She said that everything should have been plugged in . I told her what we found that needed repair. I would go back and stay here because it was beautiful and relaxing.

We spent a quiet weekend out of town at this lovely cabin. We enjoyed all the space with the three full bathrooms! We spent time on the front and back decks and really enjoyed the hot tub every night. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

3rd visit for us. Still warm and welcoming. Great location in Lake Placid. Private setting and walking distance to activities, shops and restaurants. There really isn't a comparable place in LP in our opinion!

We stayed with our child and another family with their 2 children. Had a great time. Enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub, plus found it an easy walk from Lake Placid Brewing Company. Had a couple minor things come up and owner was incredibly helpful and quick to respond. Highly recommended!

The house was perfect. Great layout with kitchen, family, and dining room all open space. Great backyard with firepit for kids to play. Hot tub was perfect for the kids. Location easy to all main st shops/restaurants and Whiteface skiing. Few minor issues, communication with the owner was easy and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

We rented the home for 5 nights just before Christmas. About a foot of snow fell earlier the day of our arrival so the outside looked incredible. When we arrived, we drove up the plowed driveway, but had to locate a shovel to gain access to the home because it was never cleared. We walked in and turned on the lights. The log cabin style home has a warm and cozy look and feel. As we got settled in we began to notice the neglect in the home — broken kitchen cabinet doors, exposed power outlets, a hot tub with a cracked cover and no chlorine in it, and squeaky beds. While the home is tidy, it isn’t didn’t feel clean. The floors are sooty, air quality was dirty, and filtered water tasted foul leading me to believe that all the filters throughout the house aren’t properly maintained. If the owner took the time to maintain the home I would return, but until then I’ll avoid and stay somewhere else that is clean and comfortable., and offers a healthier experience.

Perfect location had an amazing time

This was a great house and great location to explore around Lake Placid. The house is right on Mirror Lake Drive and close to downtown and restaurants. The house had all the amenities needed for a stay. It had a full kitchen with all appliances with washer and dryer. There was lots of room in the dining room and the great room. I've stayed at a lot of places in Lake Placid and this was the best. Will definitely book again.

Can’t say enough about how great our stay was. Close enough to town to walk, but far away enough to be quiet and relaxing. Great walking trails were right nearby. We even saw a couple of deer in the backyard. The spacious hot tub and fireplace topped it all off for our get away.

This is a beautiful spacious log cabin. Pictures do not do it justice. All the rooms are very large including the great room with the amazing stone fireplace. Kitchen is the perfect place to gather and share cooking. Lovely backyard with fire pit ( lots of wood provided) and chairs. Hot tub on deck!! The location is perfect and a short walk to Main Street with all the cool eateries and shopping.

While being on the main drag you feel as though you're off the path. What does that mean? The location is surprisingly quiet and comfortable. Very easy to access and just far enough way from the downtown area to be peaceful. The house is nice and roomy with for the first time in a long time comfortable beds. We've been coming to Lake Placid and renting homes there for about fifteen years and this was our best experience.

We loved our stay at this adorable log cabin in Lake PLacid. The location is perfect, about a mile walk into town, and directly across the street from the Mirror Lake. Nice amenities and very comfortable stay. Highly recommend for a long weekend.

We spent a week here in mid-August. The location is great: we were able to launch kayaks in both Mirror Lake and Lake Placid just by walking the boats down. Access to a nice trail through the woods right at the house was great for walking the dog. The house has all the amenities we could ask for: full kitchen, washer/dryer, etc. Having three bedrooms and three bathrooms was nice for some privacy among our group of friends. We hadn't planned on using the hot tub, but after a day of activities we found it a nice way to relax the sore muscles and we ended up using it every night. The garage is a nice bonus to store kayaks, but the provided boats were also useful. Great location to walk into downtown Lake Placid and have a meal but just far enough to avoid the crowds. We had a great week!
