Beautiful view and house!

Nice clean property and well stocked. Craig is a great host and communication was also great.

Craig is wonderful - always answered our questions, always went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The house is gorgeous, the views are amazing. We had a wonderful time staying at this property. It was meticulously kept and comfortable. We enjoyed snowshoeing at Henry Woods and had a great time in Lake Placid. Hope to be back next winter.

Easy to rent, easy to find, clean, exactly as described and pictured. Was exactly what I was looking for.

House and the property was amazing. Location was ideal about 30 minutes from white face and 20 minutes from downtown Lake Placid.

Craig the property owner has a lot of knowledge about the area and was able to provide us with any information we requested, even giving detailed directions about a beautiful scenic drive if you're trying to spot a moose. The cabin is on a big parcel of land which is absolutely beautiful in the fall. The children had a great time running around and playing in the big yard. Every day we were visited by deer and turkeys which we all enjoyed. The property is very private with all the necessities within a short distance. There was plenty of fun activities to do during the day. It was peaceful to sit on the deck at night, looking at the bright stars. The cabin was well stocked with kitchen supplies, towels, toilet paper, blankets etc. but our favorite part was the Keurig with a generous supply coffee pods. There is also a regular coffee pot. I would highly recommend this property..

This was our second time staying at McKenzie Mtn. Chalet, and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. You will never find a cleaner property!! The host is wonderful - easy to communicate with and always available if you have any issues. Such a wonderful place in the Adirondacks. Can't wait to visit again. Thanks so much Craig!

The house is beautiful and has everything you could need. The location is quiet and peaceful but close enough to shops and restaurants if needed. Well maintained and the owner is super easy to communicate with. We have an older kid but the layout could be tricky for families with younger kids just because the master bedroom is on a different floor from the other bedrooms.

We were all impressed with the location and the property. All of the rooms were clean with up-to-date appliances as well as kitchen and bathroom facilities. With the back property facing south there is full sun, and moon, most of the day. We also had several wild visitors such as a deer and her two fawns as well as wild turkeys all over the place!

House is a phenomenal location and has all the amenities one could ask for. Plenty of space for card and board games or hang out by great fire pit with a spacious back yard with a great view!

Great location and property! Secluded with ample open space for the puppy, wildlife to watch, and close to Saranac/ Lake Placid and lots of hikes. Check in/ out clearly outlined and easy, and Craig responded quickly when We had a concern about the fridge. Would gladly return!

Loved the cabin! The night sky with no light pollution was amazing and we've never seen a nicer fire pit. Craig was so accommodating and everything was there that we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Everything in the house was great! Everything in and around the house was exactly as stated on the listing. The yard was also super awesome for our dog, who loved all the space. Great place to stay.

We enjoyed our time here it was wonderful by having so much room for everyone, campfire, decks to enjoy the Mt. views. We felt like it was our private get-away! So much to do in the area for each day we stayed. We all enjoyed this property so much!

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful, relaxing week at Craig's home. The house itself is very comfortable. Plenty of seating in the living room, beautiful master bedroom with a view of the mountains, huge bathroom with a soaking tub as well as a shower, lovely deck facing the mountain view. We made good use of the gas grill on the deck. We hiked Baker Mountain, hiked to Moose Pond and visited the John Brown Homestead which I would highly recommend. Also spent time walking around Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. We really enjoyed the Camp Fire restaurant in Saranac Lake for a fine dining experience. We would love to come back to this beautiful home and highly recommend it to others.

The cabin is wonderful, complete with all sorts of utensils and even a dog food and water station. It was a very comfortable stay. The cabin is well-lit inside and out when you need it. The property is beautiful and the huge field the cabin sits on was a dream for my dog.

This property was even better than we could have hoped for! The communication with Craig was prompt and detailed. The lodge didn't lack for amenities. My husband and I (and our small dog) stayed for a few days while we skied at nearby Whiteface Mountain, and then toured Lake Placid. To come back to such a warm and comforting environment at the end of a very tiring day was sheer bliss. We are already talking about visiting again in the summer/fall and you can be sure we will stay here again. Craig thank you for everything! Stacy O'

Great getaway cabin experience. Very spacious and met all expectations. Not too far from area attractions and perfect location to relax. Would definitely recommend to those who are looking for a cabin getaway!
