The location and space was wonderful. The property has had a facelift and it is beautiful. The beds and baths were great. We will miss Madrid!

The apartment is perfectly situated on the north end of the Retiro, making it easy to walk/metro everywhere in the city. If you like to exercise, a run in the retiro is the perfect solution (though don't run across the busy Calle Alcala, take the metro underpass at the intersection with Lagasca). Abundant local restaurants and cafes. The apartment is contemporary and well appointed. Really attractive, airy, light, and clean. And the housekeeping service on Fridays in a bonus! It has everything you need with the exception of good television access. This is a high-class problem, but we wanted to watch the French Open and some of the soccer/football finals, and needed to figure out streaming on our computers. Oh well, perhaps they'll add that in time. Wonderful stay!

Comparable to staying in manhattan overlooking Central Park. Very modern and comfortable.
