Loved everything about The Blue Grotto! Easy to rent and working with the Owners was easy. Loved the location, walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants, church, everywhere! The beach access was 1 block away, and the beach was BEAUTIFUL! The pool was cleaned and well maintained while we were there and the house was immaculate when we arrived. The house is very well equipped and VERY comfortable! Loved our stay and hope to return!

Nice property with lots of space for multiple families to be in a single unit. Great location a block from the beach - no need to rent a golf cart. Only problem during the stay was the pool heater did not work. The owners refunded us the money for heating the pool and replaced the heater promptly. Unfortunately our stay ended the day the new heater was installed. Price seemed high for the week but that was probably due to the increase in demand with hurricane Ian putting a lot of other rental properties in the Fort Myers area off the market for spring 2023.

This was our second consecutive year staying at the Blue Grotto. For a family of twelve renting both units was perfect. The accommodations were ideal in every way. The house was clean and well suited for our stay. The beach was just a short walk that our young grandchildren could easy navigate. The outside amenities were also perfect. Pool, grill and plenty of area to enjoy it all. Hoping to return!

Looking at the outside you may wonder is Blue Grotto a good place to stay? Our group of 8 could not have been happier. The house was fully equipped with all that we needed. The kitchens had all items and the house clean and immaculate. The pool is gorgeous. You will love staying here. The owners were the best!

Family/friends gathering of ladies ranging in age 58-90. Wonderful house. Well supplied with two full kitchens. Had all we needed. Nice short walk to beach. Just perfect. Had a wonderful time. So much so we have already booked for next year. Kelly and Domenici were very responsive whenever contacted. Only suggestion is upgrade to soft close hinges on kitchen cupboard doors or replace missing plastic bumpers. Very noisy cabinets. Otherwise, perfect house. All on one level which is rare and needed for our active but aging group! :) and handrails in the showers.

Loved the proximity to the beach and the quiet neighborhood. The house is very roomy and 2 kitchens and living areas are definitely a bonus. The pool was very nice and was used daily. Communications with owners was exceptional.

We took our kids and grandkids the week of Thanksgiving and had a great time. The house was great, plenty of room and everyone had 'their' space. The grand kids loved swimming in the pool and the short walk to the beach was great with the kiddos. Highly recommend staying at the Blue Grotto.

Our family had a wonderful time for fall break! We were thankful to be able to visit so soon after Hurricane Ian. Kelly communicated with me through the process of figuring out if it was going to be possible to come. We found the house to be so comfortable for our family of 12, six being under 10. It had everything we needed and more from beach chairs, toys, and a wagon. Lots of loungers by the pool and plenty of room for the kids to play indoors and out. Thanks, Kelly, for working hard to get the house and pool in shape so we could enjoy a week on your beautiful island!!

This property is great. So spacious with more than enough room for our large family.

This was the second year we stayed at the Blue Grotto and it did not disappoint. The pool and surrounding area has been updated and was great for our family of 11. The teenage boys love having one side of the house basically to themselves and the girls loved the twin beds on the opposite side of the house. There was plenty of room for cooking ,family dinners, playing cards, dancing and tons of family fun. The grocery store, beach shops, restaurants were all nearby. Of course, renting a golf cart made it so much fun for evening trips to the ice cream stores. Our family is already talking about going back next year !

Great location. Short walk to the beach. Plenty of room for a family of 12. Weather was great the entire time. One suggestion is to buy a new infrared gas grill. Would stay there again anytime.

Great property for multiple families . having two large kitchens was a life saver for fixing different meal s for different families .Both kitchens were stocked with everything that we needed . The walk to the beach was a short one , even with several toddlers . The pool water was very warm when we arrived so we asked the pool company to adjust the timing of the pump which helped the temperature of the water . The island is small , so restaurants and Publix could be reached easily . We will definitely rent Blur Grotto again next year!

Great location & set-up. Outdoor area is fantastic and had all the essentials you’d need to travel to the beach. I would definitely stay again. Only complaint is some of the beds & pillows were uncomfortable, so I’d travel with mine next time.

This was our family’s first VRBO experience and it exceeded our expectations. Plenty of room for our family of 8 adults and 2 children. The house had everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the beach which was just a short short stroll and the heated pool. We definitely hope to return.

If you need lots of space this is your place! The pictures didn’t do this house justice. It was extremely clean and very well maintained with top notch decor. We loved the pool area. Spent each day drinking coffee by the pool and watching kids swim in the morning and then packed up and went to the beach for the afternoons and then again for sunsets. The location of the house made it so easy to go back and forth to the beach. There was anything and everything that we needed in the kitchen and even going to the beach. Very nice beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, beach towels and even a beach wagon. You name it, the owners had it! Very well thought out! The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and new. Loved having keyless entry! We rented a golf cart and would highly recommend this. The kids loved it! The street is very quiet with little traffic. Loved the way the house is set up with 2 different wings. Can be used as a duplex but we used the whole house. The second kitchen came in handy for refrigerator space. When babies napped, they were far enough away from the noise of the pool area. If you are fortunate enough to choose this home, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Dominic and Kelly for helping us make these long lasting memories with our family!!

We really enjoyed this house. Great location. House was well stocked with towels, cookware, and the beds were comfortable.

My husband and I took our grown kids and grands here the week after Christmas. The house is roomy and better equipped than most every one we have ever stayed in. (And that’s a LOT). The back yard is perfect and the pool is great. Lots of lounges and seating and even a tote full of chairs for the beach, which is literally right down the street. Be sure to stroll down for sunset as well. Gorgeous! The owners are very kind and very helpful. We will definitely stay there again!
