Everything!
A beautiful location, lovely hosts, the best breakfast we’ve had anywhere recently 10/10 and a very comfortable nights sleep! The room is beautifully decorated and very luxurious, warm and inviting. The view from our room was epic, we loved just sitting on the chairs and staring out to Shibden Hall. There is of course a little Tv but who needs one when you have the view this room has!
The very steep hill to get to the property isn’t great but the whole area is hilly so…. To be expected. The parking is ok, it’s off road but there isn’t much of it and you risk being blocked in if you park on site but we were actually ok as we left first. The big tree over the drive drops its kernels on the driveway in September so you wake up to lots of little shell cases on your car roof😔, but I guess it’s nature so…, you can park on the road of course.

Lovely setting; attractive, spacious room with a very comfortable bed. I appreciated the provision of proper milk in the bedroom fridge to allow me to have a decent cup of tea. Breakfast was plentiful (paid on departure). Parking was available in the driveway or on the road outside.
Nothing. I am planning to return.

Breakfast just right, nicely cooked and well presented.

We enjoyed our stay very much indeed. It is a beautiful house, beautifully decorated. We received a warm and friendly welcome by Philip. our host and he continued to look after us. The facilities were great and the breakfasts outstanding. I would highly recommend 'Shibden hall View'. You will not be disappointed.
There was nothing to complain about at all.
