We had a wonderful long weekend. Hiked in a local park. Caught some fish at the property. Everything was just as described. The place was very clean, with no extra clutter. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking. Host responded immediately to our few inquiries.

Beautiful location. Relaxing atmosphere. Fun times tubing on the creek and fishing. Firepit and games at night. Enjoyed the time we spent there. Also dog friendly

The place was great. Surrounded on two sides by a creek which babbled exactly how it was supposed to for good sleep. The kitchen inside is well organized and the two bedrooms both are great. Can’t wait to get back there.

The house was great as described. The location was fabulous very private and the stream right in front was so pretty and the sound of the water at night was so relaxing. We would defiantly want to book there again. The owners were so easy to work with and the house was immaculate and well appointed.

My daughters and I rented this home for a weekend. It was exactly as advertised. The location is so serene, the home was very clean, had all the comforts of home, and the owners are wonderful. Perfect place to get away from the every day hustle and bustle and just relax by the fire and listen to the water. Highly recommend!

Second time staying. My family really enjoys playing in the water and the quietness. The host does a great job keeping the place clean and works hard to make sure you’re comfortable.

The house was very clean, all instructions included made the stay easier. The home is in a very quiet river front community. You feel very secluded. Great time for all and our pups.

This property was one of the best (if not the best) we ever rented. Jen and Dan were spectacular hosts. The house was super clean and stocked with whatever we needed. Perfect bedding and towels. Convenient location. Newly renovated kitchen and bathroom! Definitely worth the money!! We will be back for sure!!

The place was spotless upon arrival, and we loved the location by the water. The host accommodated us and was very responsive!

Beautiful property. It’s all stones though, just so you know. Right on a creek that is peaceful to listen to while sitting around a fire. We were there for Thanksgiiving but can only imagine how nice it is to float in the creek during warmer times. The owners do a lot of nice touches like FIREPIT set up and just needs a light, lots of wood stacked and cover next to the pit, same done inside for the fireplace, a few complimentary items like hot coco and popcorn. Not many negatives but the bathroom is on the second floor, it’s a charcoal grill not gas, and ice maker is extremely slow. The negatives are just minor and I point out just to be honest about the whole place. Will definitely go back to enjoy more of the views and swim in the creek.

This cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway! The entire place was incredibly clean and had everything we could have needed. The area is very quiet because it is at the end of the road, and we enjoyed hearing the sounds of the creek when we had the windows open. The rainfall showerhead with body massage jets was an unexpected luxury (I asked my husband if we can get one at our house). The queen bed was very comfortable and the bed linens were super cozy. Our dog had the time of her life splashing in the water and exploring the property. We would love to return for a summer trip or in early fall for the foliage. Pay attention to the instructions about how to get there - you will lose cell service so be sure you have the navigation map downloaded or printed out.

Can’t say enough good things about Jen, Dan, and their poconos cabin. The perfect place for a family getaway. Modern amenities with the poconos outdoor charm. Jen and Dan provide everything you need for your stay including getting the fire pit set up to enjoy, tea coffee and hot chocolate, games to play.. the list goes on. You won’t regret staying here.

We absoluely adored this cabin! It was perfect. The cabin sits on a secluded cul-de-sac on a creek, so you can fall asleep to the sounds of the water. Inside, it has everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was well-stocked, there were plenty of games, books, even rafts for the river. The beds were SO comfortable, I need to know where they got the mattresses! Check in/out was easy and we were even able to bring our dogs for a very reasonable fee. Overall, this was one of the best rental experiences we have even had and I would highly recommend. We will definitely be returning!

We were looking for a place to rent in the area that didn’t require us to pack a lot. This home had everything we needed. The owner was very nice and accommodating. My dogs also loved it!

We (2 adults, 2 doodles) stayed at this cabin during first week in October. It was the perfect size and location to serve as our base camp for all our Poconos activities. There was a very good size lot for the dogs to run around and for plenty of privacy. The owners were incredibly responsive and very much on top of things. We loved the old ski lift and remnants of the old ski slope that used to be part of this community (you will pass it on the way to the cabin). You can find a YouTube where someone has documented the history of it. Look up the lost slopes at Kahkout mountain. We enjoyed the wildlife having seen a crane or heron standing on a rock in the river (which is right there in the backyard), a fox running down the road, and a family of deer in the side yard that simply lied down and stared calmly at us. The babbling river out back, the stone border wall, and autumn trees were calming and exactly what I needed to reconnect with the outdoors. The house was spotless with comfortable beds and quality linens. Very cozy and well appointed with everything you need to cook. Everything was as stated in their posting. There are restaurants a short drive away but plenty more in nearby towns of Stroudsburg and Milford. Bushkill falls was a only a 10 minute drive. We took our trail bikes an hour away to the town of Jim Thorpe and rode 15 miles of the rail trail there. Note that several restaurants are not open earlier in the week in Jim Thorpe. If we make it back to the Poconos someday, we will definitely see if this place is available first. Highly recommend.

The house is adorable and perfect for getting away. Jennifer, the owner, is very nice and easy to talk to and available for any questions. Check in/out processes were simple. We would definitely stay here again.

Had a great time at the cabin, was everything we were looking for. Definitely a place to unplug from daily life and just relax and as they say “ smell the flowers”. Jen and Dan were great hosts, communicated throughout the process. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy the cabin.

Oh, my! What a wonderful home and perfect place to escape! My husband and I stayed at Jen's adorable log cabin for three nights. Everything was extremely clean, and the home was well stocked. Honestly, this is one of the best homes we have rented through VRBO! We loved the fact that it is located on the end of a quiet street, and the creek behind the house immediately lowered our blood pressure! LOL There is a lot to do nearby. We spent time Saturday at the local flea market, and one day we visited Bushkill Falls. Yes, it meant climbing a lot of stairs, but it was so worth it! What a beautiful place! Thanks, Jen, for being so responsive to our questions and providing such a great place to relax!!!

This property exceeded our expectations. The house was extremely clean and had everything you could need. The beauty of the property is breathtaking. Absolutely loved it!! The owners were available and quick to respond to any questions.

Absolutely loved our stay at Jen & Dan’s place! Everything was super clean & looked just like the photos. The bed was so comfy I didn’t want to get out in the morning. We loved having coffee & breakfast out on the second floor deck every morning, listening to the creek. We even had a lovely little family of deer come by one afternoon while we were up there with the dog- thankfully she didn’t scare them away :) We also got to see the resident eagle fly along the creek a few times! All in all we had an amazing time and would love to come back in the winter to make use of the wood-burning stove.

This house was terrific. The owners, Jen and Dan, were super helpful, and the house itself was amazingly clean. For a house in the woods, it was spotless - no bugs, no spiderwebs. Everything was clean and perfect. The location is great, with the calming sounds of the creek in the back. It was private, quiet, and really everything we hoped it would be. We'll definitely be back!

We came here for a summer getaway and enjoyed hiking nearby, then just relaxing inside and outside the home. Has all the modern conveniences - even a printer loaded with paper ready to go that we actually used to print our admission tix to Bushkill Falls. The home is well-maintained and well equipped with extraordinary thoughtfulness and attention to detail. The shaded creek behind the house was a real treat as well as the second floor deck. Already considering a return visit!

Cabin is clean and has every you need. Felt very safe . Owner is across the creek Hood to have friendly people around at same time enough privacy and seclusion. Creek is good enough for kids to play in My son (13) did fishing . My fog had a great time too .

Wow! What an amazing time we had staying at this wonderful creek front cabin. Location was perfect for us. We spent everyday on the creek. Cabin was very clean and fully stocked with everything you need. Communication with host was excellent. Definitely would stay here again. Thank you Dan and Jen! Truly the best location.
