The round concept is fantastic and the place is very nicely decorated and stocked. The owners responded to all communications timely. We were pleased with the cleanliness and comfort, and were happy with the ocean access. The private outdoor shower is a nice touch. The four-star rating is a result of the place needing some updates and general maintenance. For instance, the air hockey table is ancient and really doesn’t work well, the ice maker in the freezer is leaking and forms giant blocks of ice, and there is a spot on the top floor deck railing that is loose and needs to be secured. Overall it was a very nice experience, and Avon is a really great town if you want a quiet family vacation.

We loved our stay at the "circle house". The views from the upper deck were fabulous and the sunrises were beautiful. The stars at night from the hot tub were a treat as well. Stocked with all we needed and then some. Love the whimsy in the décor esp. the carpets.

We loved the location. Just inside Avon at the North side, and the path to the beach only took a few minutes to walk. Plenty of visibility on the 360 degree upper deck. The dunes were too high to see the beach at the time of our stay, but that’s always changing in the OBX. Plenty of outdoor seating, Hot tub was great, comfortable A/C, and King beds- all we needed! The kitchen is nice and big too. Well stocked with toiletries- we had brought our own soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc based on our experience with a previous stay somewhere else, but didn’t need them here! It was also convenient to have a gas grill handy.

We had such a wonderful stay here! Sunrises on the deck were amazing. The home is large enough to host more than the three people we had. The kitchen was well appointed and we were able to make many meals here. The beach was beautiful and quiet.

We enjoyed staying here. Unfortunately we’re older and the stairs were a bit much. All in all we had fun

Wow… Mother Nature was not on our side (great winds, huge waves, not much heat/sun), but the house was perfect in every way. Quiet neighborhood, close enough from everything but not too close… Help from owner for an auto repair, answers quickly to any enquiry. Seriously impressed! Not my first rental, but it’s on top of my « go back to » list!!!

Property is definitely unique. The sound and ocean views did not match up to the pictures online. A couple of things you might want to check. A window in the first bedroom leaked when it rained. And as you know the air conditioner did not work on the first floor. We made the best of that situation. We enjoyed our stay in Avon and you house location was central to our location. We drove out on the beach each day. Thanks again

We loved the location of the house/property. It could use some updating and minor repairs. Some of the upstairs furniture was very wobbly and the leather sofa was about worn out, especially on one end, apparently that's the end that gets the most use. The wicker tiki bar was cute and the wicker chairs but they didn't seem very stable. Loved the wrap around deck and the views were awesome 👌

We had a great stay at the “circle” house. It was very clean and as described. The walk to the beach is an easy one and it was nice and quiet in April - not sure how it is during the season. The view from the upstairs was nice and the house really is a neat, cute one! The only bummer was the air going out at the end of our stay, which made it a little hot but at least it was only April! The outdoor shower was the best I had seen and made it so convenient for washing the kids and everything off! Now - this is not the owners’ fault but I want to warn young families. Avon is a nice, quiet stay but get ready for lots of driving in the OBX for the tourist places, like Duck, Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, Corolla, etc. It’s my fault but I wish there wasn’t so much driving for 3 kids. I think that’s the norm bc there’s so many things all up and down the coast. Just be prepared - it’s exhausting! I also wasn’t prepared by how many things would still be closed for the off season in April - also not the owners’ fault, just things I’m mentioning to tourists who may not come in the summer months! Our kids enjoyed the sites but the beach was our favorite place to be!

The round house was clean and the upstairs was definitely stunning with all the window views. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate so we couldn’t do as much on the beach as expected. Spring is definitely unpredictable. We have stayed at many house rentals over the years and I’ve never had a welcoming package of extra toilet paper, garbage bags, and paper towels. It’s usually something fun like snacks. Still not a reason to be annoyed. The pictures inside the cabinets of how the dishes and glasses needed to be put back exactly was a bit like bringing my mom on vacation criticizing how I put dishes back. If I paid the cleaning fee then making sure the glasses are placed exactly in the correct order is not on my to do list on vacation. Still not a reason to be annoyed. This next part is what left a bad impression on me. The day after we left I get a message from Donika that she didn’t know how to bring up something so she was just going to ask me if I lied to her. I was asked when i booked the house if we were bringing any pets. I said no. Then the message comes through the next day asking me why I lied and brought an animal. The cleaning lady found cat food upstairs and chewed up pillows. I have never had a pet. I don’t like animals. Of course she wouldn’t know that about me. But being accused of trying to sneak in an animal really annoyed me. Then I was also accused of not texted when we left the house and the cleaning lady just got there. I absolutely did because I got a response to something I told her in my text. When I responded that I absolutely didn’t sneak in an animal and I did in fact text when we left her response was ‘my bad. I forgot the pillows were already that way. No worries” Not good enough when accused of lying. The house was nice but the end interaction will not bring me back to this house.

We really enjoyed our stay! The kitchen was updated and really nice. It was just a short walk to the beach and close to shopping and restaurants in Avon. The house is older, but everything worked and it was clean. We had a great time! Thank you!

This house was even better than expected. The view of the ocean is breathtaking and made all of us extremely happy. Also pretty amazing to be able to watch the fiery sunsets out of the opposite windows. Walk to the beach is short and easy for the area. You will have to walk over the dunes, but that's the case everywhere in Avon. Kitchen is well stocked, and you're less than 3 miles from Food Lion. First floor efficiently fits three bedrooms and two bathrooms into a relatively small and oddly shaped space. The rooms get nice and dark and quiet, and the beds are freakishly comfortable. I am pretty much never able to sleep my first night in a new place, but from the first night on, I had some of my best sleep in recent memory. Finally, Danika, the owner, was very responsive and helpful and a delight to deal with. I'm hoping we can make it back to this magical place!

Great location, but house is a little worn. Also saw a bug or two. Very limited channel selection on tv, need some sports channels. Hot tub was okay but appeared to have some issues.

What a view, what a view! If you want to prepare a feast with your family, this is the place. Beautiful upstairs area with a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of room. Just a short walk over the dune to the beach. A perfect winter getaway. We even saw a whale! We had a few issues (had trouble finding the house and the hot tub got cold, both user errors on our part) and John was incredibly responsive and even checked in on us the next day. We would definitely stay again! We ❤️ d it!

We needed a quiet, relaxing vacation and that is exactly what we got! The property is open front, with a sand dune you have to pass to get to the ocean, however, you can watch the ocean from the porch. The hot tub was perfect. The entire set up was great, we willve going back!

Walking in the door was a challenge bc the door was uneven and dragged.Second night had a cockroach crawl over my toothbrush.Contacted owner took 3 days for a completed response.Water dripping off house looked up in eaves and there was mold which explained my migraine for 3 days.All the wood including chairs were rotten on the porch.2 of them were not even stable to sit.Flies were horrible bc there are no lids on the outside trashcans.The toilet in one of the bathrooms sits so low to the ground its more like a child toilet.View was beautiful but you had to take a strenuous walk along the path to get to the ocean.Grill was full of grease so our steaks were ruined. Game room was deceiving bc its a little closet under the house.The owner did say she had someone spray after 3 days but saw no evidence of that bc as we were leaving a huge roach was alive in the kitchen.The only thing good was we left early bc of the hurricane and I had bought traveler's insurance so I got a refund for 2 days.I hate to leave bad reviews but if you have rental properties keep them up!

Very nice place. The panoramic view and the surround deck are awesome. Great kitchen. One of the best outside showers I have ever been in. Easy beach access. Perfect size for my wife and I. Very dog friendly house.

We had a lovely experience staying in your cute round, nautical decorated home. All was really nice.

The place is fine. Downstairs is where you'll find the sleeping quarters and bathrooms. Upstairs is where you will probably spend most of your time with the kitchen and views of the ocean. Except for the beach of course. The beach itself is not crowded at all. Plenty of room to play. We had the opportunity to watch sea turtles hatch. The walk to the ocean is a little long for those who are older or in bad health. But the walk is no different than most other rentals in the area.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The home was exactly as described and there were no surprises. The owner was so quick to respond to questions we had prior to our arrival as well as throughout our stay. The neighborhood is very safe, private, quiet and close to everything you could need. We had a great week and John and Donna helped make that possible.

Avon is a special place and the All Around Views house is on a beautiful property. The hosts were very helpful throughout the entire booking process and during our stay. We had a wonderful week!

This was a very nice little place by the beach. The views were tremendous. The owners were having some trouble with their cleaning company and they actually cane iut and tried to clean the place up for us, however it was very dirty as they allow pets on the property. Inwould recommend the place if they get a new cleaning crew.

This is an older beach house, but overall was clean and well kept. It's a quiet neighborhood. The house offers nice views. The trek over the dunes to the beach might be difficult for some people, but we managed it. That's the only detail I'd add to the listing. An older person may not be able to make the trek over the dunes to the beach from this house, otherwise, it's a solid, standard older OBX beach house.

This is our second time at “All Around Views” and it didn’t disappoint. Unbelievable views, all the comforts of home. All you need to bring is your clothes and toothbrush. Its quiet & peaceful, but there are plenty of restaurants and a Food Lion which uses Instacart for pick ups. Pictures and words don’t do it Justice.

This house is in a great location with good views and direct access to the beach. The property owner was responsive and helpful. The listing is accurate although we did not realize we we booked that the bathrooms are both on the level with the bedrooms, and there are no facilities on the main living area level.
