Absolutely beautiful home, so traditional and authentic! Would highly recommend this beautiful home. Wonderful location in beautiful Birgu

The location & property is beyond amazing! However, a cumbersome tedious online check in process deflates the joy. Additionally, this amazing property deserves a better “hands-on” service structure. Currently it is a DIY check in and rest of stay is primarily through WhatsApp… again , the property is amazing & interesting! But needs some improvement
Tedious check in process, door locks take a bit of getting used to. Rooms need numbers to identify.

Lovely b&b in the heart of historic birgu. Much quieter and less touristy than Valletta but easy to get back and forth via ferry or gondola boats. We enjoyed our room, which was a large and comfortable, and appreciated the air conditioning. Breakfast was convenient in the morning, but recommend getting there early as only a small amount of food is prepared and is not refreshed after it’s taken by other guests. Very cool historic building. Overall would recommend.
The only downside of this stay was communication with the owner/host. I messaged the owner in advance with questions and did not get a response. We received no check in instructions - only got lucky to run into the owner outside the property when we arrived - and no check out instructions.

breakfast fine. toast, yogurt, sides etc good. great location, comfortable bed. Shower and bathroom good and hot water good.. lovely quiet location. room attractive with enough powerpoints. AC efficient
no comfortable chair to relax in in bedroom. would have liked a pair of slippers, floor very cold. also would have like a stool in the bathroom. i found it a challenge to carry bags to second floor. cooked breakfast cold and over cooked.
never found the honesty bar, only soft drinks available

"Die Haus ist großartig, zentral in Birgu und trotzdem ruhig. Der Palazzo ist wunderschön und atmet Geschichte. Unser Zimmer war stylish, großzügig und hatte Atmosphäre."
