Leaving that junkie area, ridden with dirt and drugs

As per attached photos, I wrote to the host immediately, asking him if the WiFi was working properly, as I needed it to teach lessons that evening. He ignored my request, and wrote back with a long interogatory form (more questions than immigration) that he said he required BEFORE arrival, which I've never heard of, 35 countries later. So I rang him before I took a taxi and he assured me the WiFi was working, however, when I arrived a few minutes later, it wasn't working. He then took me to another apartment where there were several servers, but NONE of them were working. His wife tried to deceive me by saying that the WiFi was working so the problem was allegedly with both my phones! However, after 10 years in Jamaica, please ensure if you're going to lie to me, you don't insult my intelligence, and treat me like an idiot. I soon proved she was lying, as I went to a website which tests the WiFi speed, which states the server and it showed it was either Claro or Tigo MOBILE, so she was using her mobile data!! And they thought I'd be too stupid to spot a scam!! Then the owner tried to cheat me over the price. Tourists do NOT have to pay taxes in Colombia, check the law for yourself. The 56,000 charge INCLUDED the commission, BUT he wanted to charge me 65,000 and pay taxes, see photo. Then he forcefully removed my suitcases from the property and started shouting at me. As I left in a taxi, he told me to cancel the booking so he could rent it out. He then LIED to booking and said that I wanted to cancel it, so that I wouldn't have to pay for the commission, to try an cover up his dirty deeds. Don't worry, this won't happen to you if you're a native! Single gringo/a beware, as I never have priblems when I'm with a Colombian guy.. Must just all be a coincidence LOL!!! Beware this neighbourhood is full of junkies so I was pleased to leave that dirty ghetto.

Perfect space for one or two people. Supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, banks, all within 3mins walk. Nice views. 15mins by car to the centre or 25mins using public transport.

Washing machine is coin operated but doesn't accept all coins and runs out of time before the cycle is complete leaving clothes very wet. Limited cooking implements.

Everything was perfect, the location of the apt is perfect , nice, quiet, close to malls and everything , the host is a great person really helpful, I'll be back for sure
