We were a party of 5, and very soon realized the the apartment was too small for us. We contacted the host who kindly offered us an alternative apartment - "Spacious real two bedrooms at the Daniel hotel", which fitted our needs very well. The host was available on call and in person, very accommodating. The location is excellent for a beach vacation. The beach is well serviced with seating and shades, and a beach restaurant with very good food and reasonable prices (Maka Maka).

The hotel does not have a parking lot or garage. Street parking is practically impossible - no free spaces. There is close nearby a paying parking lot which is convenient but also full during Friday and Saturday. The Hotel's pool is quite crowded and cleanliness of the pool deck leaves to be desired, but with a beach like this who needs a pool?

I arrived to the property and ask in the Daniel hotel reception for the apartments but nobody there knows about these.

The apartment had a cigarette smell.

This "smoke-free" apartment reeked of cigarettes and there were three cigarette butts next to the cough in the living room. The apartment was unclean, with sticky surfaces, fingerprints on windows, loose hinges, and an overall sense of neglect. When we arrived, there was wet laundry in both the laundry machine and the dryer. There were also dirty dishes and a burnt pan in the dishwasher. There were renovations in the next-door apartment with load drilling, the smell of glue and paint, smoking, and loud music. Our host did not respond to messages on booking, only by WhatsApp, and it took nearly 24 hours to get her response. She was utterly unhelpful, besides providing advice on the legal hours for the renovations to take place. It seems strange that the host would not be aware of an ongoing extensive renovation. We rented multiple apartments in Israel in the past, and this was by far the worse. So if you are looking for an unclear apartment, taking care of the previous tenant's dishes and laundry, and an unresponsive host - look no further. With some luck, you can enjoy the ongoing renovations and lively discussions with the host.

The view was amazing.

The host, Efrat. She was not clear about the pool cards and was extremely rude and unrespectful with us. We were aware of tbis card until we entered the apt and had no me tion of what we should or should not do with them on our stay. No note on tbe apt about tbis or msg from the host. We forgot to return 2 of them and called to tell her we would send them the next day and take care of the inconvenience but instead she called at 11pm when i was clear about having to sleep my baby and she instisted and insisted in an agesive manner that we call her cleaning lady and coordinate returning the key in that instance, she was very agresive. We paid a lot of money and she should have a plan B for this instead of this horrible way to handle. Moreover, the laundry had used and dirty towels from Previous guests in the laundry and she expected that i wash it and reuse. Then she agreed to have someone pick them up but again the tone was not kind or hospitable.
