We loved everything about this house. It was clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was beautiful. The screened in deck was really nice. The neighborhood was lovely. Neighbors were friendly. Having a washer and dryer was super nice. The location of the house was close to Publix and local restaurants. If we come back to Hoover, we would love to stay again.

Clean home, nice neighborhood, close to alot

The house was exactly what we expected and very comfortable. Clean and in a beautiful neighborhood. The property owner was fabulous to work with.

My sisters and I enjoyed our visit. The house is conveniently located in a nice neighborhood. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were large. The floor plan is open so we could visit while cooking, eating or watching tv.

Let’s start with the positives; it’s a beautiful home with a beautiful neighbourhood. The house was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the patio, backyard. The negatives; The house was v cold in the evenings, we couldn’t control the thermostat bc it was in a lock box. The most frustrating thing about staying at this vbro is the lack of trust/communication from owner. I say lack of trust b/c we were constantly being watched by some women (either owner or owners friends). I understand checking in once or twice but to constantly be watched by women who was ‘pretending’ to garden, go on a walk, or who were literally parked outside the house when we were out and then turned off car and lights as soon as we got home, was uncomfortable. My brother brought his dog in afternoon to show the family and took him to the backyard.The owner called and said a neighbour had alerted her that a dog on the property. My brother explained he was only in the backyard and was leaving. She was fully ok with it and said to clean up if does poo. My brother took dog off property right after the phone call. We had agreed to check out from Vrbo at 12pm the following day. The owner agreed to this prior to booking as it was the one favour we asked for before booking. After the owner called about the dog that day, she messaged to say she needed us out by 9am the next day as she forgot the cleaner was scheduled for 9am. This message was sent the day before checkout. My brother replied that we agreed noon checkout prior to booking. We said we could leave by 11am at the earliest. This somehow really upset the owner. she sent through a late fee of $80 right-away and a $150 charge for having a dog on the property. We got a call during dinner when these messages were coming. It ended up being a mediator who was called by the owner demanding we pay ‘outstanding bills.’ We explained that owner was very rude and that we had screenshot of owner agreeing for 12pm checkout. Instead of apologising for changing her mind on us, she was being rude. We settled with a $50 late fee to be paid and checkout at 10am. After she was paid late fee charge the following day, my brother called to tell her we had checked out.She went on to apologise for the ‘confusion’ the night before & promised to make it up to us next time we stay with her. She didn’t reimburse the $50/ apologize for her behavior. I hope this review helps her learn about the importance of empathy/kindness to guests. It goes a long, long way!

Totally updated home in family-friendly neighborhood in Birmingham. All instructions were clear and Yeli makes the check in process smooth. The kitchen was more than adequately stocked for all our cooking needs. Everything, and I mean everything, felt brand new and well cared for. You can tell there is a lot of pride in the details of the home and how it has been maintained. It was a lot more spacious on the inside than anticipated and there's even a very nice screened patio to enjoy the outdoors. You won't regret booking this home for your stay in Birmingham.

Everything was perfect! Lots of space, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, great location for all the places we needed to go! It was the perfect place for our family to stay for our daughter’s wedding! It just added to a most perfect wedding and weekend! Great communication with owner was extra bonus!!!

the house was clean and worked well for our purposes. The host checked in to ensure all was good but we really didn't need anything. Nothing over the top but no complaints either. My brother rented a different VRBO at the same time we were in Birmingham; his place was similar but less money... I have stayed in a number of VRBO's and it is usually the "little things" that make the difference. A fruit basket on arrival or an early check in that shows the customer the host is grateful for the money they have received. All said and done, no complaints or surprises here.

What a lovely, comfortable home! There are so many little touches that the owners have gone out of their way to add in order to make the house a comfortable and pleasant place to be. And from what I understand, they are continuing to make upgrades and improvements as time goes on. Would be great for families and other groups, but also lovely for a solo or couples special getaway. The neighborhood is very safe and is great for taking a walk or hanging out in the yard. It is very close to lots of good restaurants, and it’s convenient to attractions in the area. The great room and other common areas are wonderfully comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need, plus some delightful extras. Loved hanging out on the screened-in porch! The host was SO helpful and pleasant to work with. Any time I messaged with a question, I got a helpful reply right away. Beautifully renovated and styled. My adult family loved having room to spread out and get some work done as they were away from the office, then there was plenty of seating to enjoy hangin out together. The owner was quick and excellent in communication.

We had a wonderful stay at Yeli’s home. The home was very clean and well stocked. It was in a great location, centrally located to all birmingham has to offer. You can get almost anywhere within 10 minutes. The neighborhood was residential and felt well maintained and safe. Yeli was very responsive and communication was easy. We had a lovely trip and would stay here again.
