location was perfect! close to everything, easy to stop in throughout the day as needed

the bed was very hard -personal preference- as were the pillows. would be nice to have a plain sheet because the comforter got too hot

The only thing good about the hotel was the view, which says more about Calvi than it does about the hotel.

The hotel is in the middle of a pedestrian only zone so we had to park a half mile away to unload our luggage which were heavy and at capacity since this was the second leg of a four leg vacation. The hotel had no one available to help with the luggage. We were never told and found out later, on our own, that there were parking spots close to and right behind the hotel were we could have pulled up and offload the luggage literally 10 feet from the hotel entrance vs the half a mile we walked with our luggage when we arrived. There was a gross smell throughout the hotel that smelled old and musty which was off putting. There was no Wi-Fi in our hotel for 2 days. They kept telling us in a very rude and unsympathetic way that because of the storm that blew through right before we arrived, we shouldn’t expect Wi-Fi, but the bar next door to the hotel we visited that first night had Wi-Fi. The room size was half the size that was advertised. We booked the Panoramic Deluxe Room, Sea View that was listed at 409 feet. The actual size of the room turned out to be closer to 250 feet. The AC in our room was not working, we had to ask for a fan to be brought up to our room. This summer was one of the hottest in European history and we had no AC. The light and charging port on my side of the bed was not working. The phone in the room was not working. The AC, the Light and Charging port, and phone were never fixed and did not work throughout our stay. The manager was not on duty when we arrived at the hotel and we brought up all of our issues to her the next morning, her response was arrogant and condescending. She never checked in with us to see if our issues were resolved. This was the only time we saw or heard from her. Our bed sheets were never changed throughout our stay. Bathroom was in need of remodeling, there were brown mold stains on the floor and wall of the shower. I would recommend Hotel Balanea get out of the hotel business.

The hotel is very well located though it is in a pedestrian street. The parking is about 10 minutes from the hotel.

Room 402 is extremely small and not recommended at all. Not reachable by car

Breakfast was too expensive, seats in the sun. Ac was fixed on 25, that‘s too hot for me.

Well we got upgraded to a suite but air conditioner won’t work they said it’s old machine which I think should be replaced staff did help me got a fan but room was humid hot and had mould

Nothing could have been improved on - location was fantastic, parking was close by and free, facilities were superb, but above all we rated the friendliness and helpfulness of reception staff.

Last minute booking and made very welcome on our late check in.. excellent room entirely met our expectations

The location, the location and the location. As a motorcycle traveler it is always a concern to get your bike stored safely for the night. This place Has No Parking. It is located right in the middle of the old town, overlooking the harbour so it shouldn’t be a surprise but there isn’t a parking. Did I mention the parking? Well, there isn’t any. There *ARE* a few good and safe parking areas at a few 100 meters from the hotel. Check them out before you hit town.
